This. I think they’re slept on for being older and on the Wii, and maybe a bit janky with the combat. But I love these games to death. Feels like an actual adventure, exploring the strange islands and doing Animal Crossing shit like catching bugs and fishing (but it’s actually fun). Really captures the overall spirit of the series well. Unlimited World Red was such a disappointment in comparison.

I can't see Oda doing a sequel to One Piece since most of the mystery and intrigue will be resolved by the time the series is over. If anything, I could see him doing a prequel series about Garp or Dragon like he's expressed in the past.

Arpg monster hunter clone set during time skip on Rusukaina, it features Luffy hunting various monsters for their meat. Can insert some villain causing a ruckus and experimenting on the creatures. There woulds be a tech tree with four paths one for each type of Luffy's haki, and rubber powers. Guest stars would include Jinbe, Boa, and Raleigh.
after mariejoi blows to hell and the redline shatters to let the four seas flow to one they'll throw a big banquet. then vegapunk will build the spaceship for the strawhats. luffy will then use his newfound toonforce powers to have a chance of taking on newfound space deities, the final boss being atomsk, to become the true pirate king

Probably the only time where I'd say a game being open world would be to its benefit rather than a shit gimmick. It should be about sailing around to smaller islands and landmarks like wind waker rather than exploring one big island though. Fuck world seeker.
