I watched TechTV and G4 regularly from 2005 through 2010 or 2011. I don't miss Star Trek, Cops, Cheaters, Heroes, and whatever other syndicated garbage was on there. I miss Cheat, Cinematech (and Nocturnal Emissions), Arena, Web Soup (Tosh.0 was always funnier, doing the exact same format) and some others. G4 and Ryan Dunn I think died right around the same time. RIP. I never thought much of Adam Sessler, but hearing his voice doing reviews and seeing Kevin on AOTS these days is welcome in a perverted nostalgia kind of way. I think the spirit is pretty much alive in the new station. I wish stuff like Code Monkeys could be aired or be renewed, but I think society at large is still trying to heal from the late 2010s feminist/nigger/offended by everything thing. All and all, it's really nice being able to just put on G4 after work on a Friday and watch old Ninja Warrior episodes and just let the nostalgia wash over me. I like G4, and might always be a sucker for it, even though the old days are long gone. Here's to better days ahead!
