I find it funny how she says during the battle with the Yeti on Day 1 that she will stop running away. Only for every subsequent day reminding us how much she wants to run away.

NG+ in Overclocked and im gonna assume the original let's you put custom settings according to your point, you could start over in ng+ completely clean. Even now when im going to do a third ng+ run, I can just deactivate all the advantages.

Atsuro is the best, but i always found weird his route where you discover the government wanted to nuke Tokyo with microwaves is also the one where you give the government the power of demons for a 3rd industrial revolution

>go straight to Baldur and do attack after attack as he just helplessly stands there
>still doing so little that his drain move recovers any damage dealt

Because it's a fun game with unique battle scenarios like that one. Unfortunately it's way too easy, it really would have benefited from a hard mode.

I literally fought him today and it does like 15% damage, the attack deletes his extra turn, I gain an extra turn, and the skirmish sends his next turn to after my next attack, so I engaged him 3 times in a row with my MC while he did nothing.

Based on her design I thought she was going to have a way different personality before I played the game. Why was she so shit

this delays your turn and removes your extra turn
You can engage him at 1-range, attack with your MC, and have your demons defend. Heal with demon skills in battle rather than using skills out of battle because that also delays your turn. Even at low levels you get so many chances to attack him that killing hims isn't a problem.
Also his health drain attack can be nullified or resisted, or you can unsummon any demons vulnerable to it, particularly if they aren't doing anything useful.

I did, and honestly, so far it seems like the best route in the whole game, you get a cool boss fight inside Amane's soul, you save her, and the thematic with Cain on Chaos and Abel on Law works really well, it also pulls back on the smt side of tellign a cruel story with the factions by the fact that in the 8th day you can redeem Cain and get him on your side, Kaido also doesnt mind the new regime and I fight alongside him in the hardest battle in the game(seriously, I didnt expect a "holding the line at the barricade" fight to be so hard). There's a new mechanic in the 8th day with the brands of death and it gives a hopeful message of being able to redeem chaotic people to the side of good.
Also I really dislike Yuzu so it's fun seeing her seething at Amane being my companion and Amane herself is very cute.

I'm due for a replay soon.

I lent this game to a girl once and she got stuck on Yuzu's Eighth Day boss. I think she assumed that you have to immediately set any skills you crack like I did my first time, going for a better ending.
