Lately, I've been playing the Langrisser I & II remake collection a lot. I hate how many changes and enhancements feel unnecessary or even make the games worse. At the same time, the games are still very fun and addictive and some of the added content and qol improvements aren't too bad. I still wished that they had included different versions of the original games as a bonus, as I still prefer them.

Been playing the Panzer Dragoon Remake and Marble Maid, really enjoying myself with both. Also found a use for the stickers I got for an epoxy project that didn't meet my standard, so now no more matte black case with a window showing matte black backplate.

I liked it too. I think people were too harsh on the devs for not nailing the artstyle 100%. At least the gameplay felt on point, even though I didn't play the game until after it received a few updates.

Go to DekuDeals, browse sales, and set up watchlists on games you want. There are actually tons of sales on switch games, but they're barely advertised and the Eshop is so poorly designed that it's not even worth using. Personally I have like nine first party games and I bought them all new for either $30 or $40.

You can also see price over time and see how often sales happen and how low they can get, Botw is currently $40 buck for a physical copy at multiple store right now. Personally I picked up the Botw+expansion digital for $55 last year
Yeah the Nintendo tax sucks, but so far I've regetted their prices a lot less than anything involving AAA games in the last few years I was hyped for the latest battlefield, and almost bought it before the beta in a moment of weakness.

I've continued to play Skyward Sword HD. The QoL changes have improved the pace of the game a lot, and I already liked SS back in the day on Wii, so it's been a blast. This replay has made me realize more just how well designed the game actually is, the dungeons in particular are really good. Also the game is beautiful in HD, I don't get tired of the scenery.
Get either Mario Kart or Splatoon 3. MK is going to get a lot of new content with the new dlc, so you're going to have a lot to play and they game is gonna be super active the next couple years. And Splatoon is just a really good experience to get into with all its modes. That one is a lot better with friends tho I would say, more so than Mario Kart which is great on your own too.

I think Astral Chain 2 won't happen until the next Nintendo console, maybe as a cross gen title. I imagine Platinum has all hands on deck finishing Bayonetta 3, and Astral Chain 2 only having a basic crew working on it on the first stages of development

They aren't really connected. You can get full enjoyment out of 3 without playing 1 or 2.

Xenoblade 2 for the fourth time, just a quick run through before 3 drops (I'm right off a replay of XCDE as well). Currently in Uraya. I held off doing sidequests until I got Vandham to see how far I can progress his Affinity Chart before you-know-what, so I'm binging my sidequest backlog now.
