I highly recommend. You will have no fucking clue what is happening on your first playthrough but once you get past the non-euclidian learning curve you'll be zipping around like a demigod fighting incarnated demons and cyber samurai.

Is there actual meaning in the schizophrenia?

Does anyone remember a mod that took place in the age of muskets? There were airships and at least one of the factions seemed to be based on the Ethiopian empire.
It had a lot of original art in it that looked similar to HiroTonfa. So much that I suspect he was the one that made it.
Gameplay was really janky and broken, but i still want to go back to it and check it out.

I assumed it was because the game is still getting constantly updated, so working on a mod is like building a house on sand. The foundation will shift constantly while you try working on it.

I liked Gekokujo. Going up north and finding the Ainu guys was pretty cool.

I remember trying to get into warband one time way back, mainly because everyone on the internet couldn't fucking shut up about how they creamed in their pants every time they played it, due to how god-tier the game was. biggest mistake of my life. the game is absolutely terrible. just completely fucking atrocious. just so, so bad. suck-ass graphics, shit combat, shit story, shit quests shit everything. brown brown and mote brown. worst fucking game ever.

I played the demo(the full game for free for a limited time) and liked it so much I bought the game and kept playing for hundreds of hours including multiplayer.

the highlight of mount and blade is the multiplayer mod persistent frontier

I tried it 2 weeks ago and it's even worse than after release, i didn't notice anything new or improved(except bracing spears on foot which is useless because you cant order ai to do it and it also broke cavalry charge) and all the mods that fixed the game on launch are now outdated.

The Last Days of the Third Age is one of the best games for LOTR let alone best mods for M&B
I also really liked a Clash of Kings as well, world is detailed and quests are good. AWOIAF is cringey but it's a Viking Conquest mod so it has actual ship combat

am I the only one who thinks Bannerlord is good? the base game is perfectly fine they just need to release mod tools and have a stable enough release that modders can feel confident they aren't wasting their time in working on a version that will be made obsolete. I have no major complaints or worries about BL in its current form and I don't see why they don't end EA
