I am with this guy. I don't like my mom either. Fuck that bitch. Took too much abuse from her in my early life for bullshit and acts like she never did those things when I'm an adult.

I'm not sure how my mom actually feels about me. She tries so hard to help me, but she doesn't really listen to me and skips over anything I'm concerned about. I want to have a good relationship with her, but it often feels like trying to connect with a brick wall.

I used to hate my mother but after a few years of cutting her out of my life save for a handful of visits a year I think we've both sort of chilled out. I still don't like her at all, but I don't really hate her anymore. I don't really feel anything at all toward her and I'm mostly just glad that we both seem content to not bother each other.
