come on, metro exodus enhanced or whatever as a tech demo is worth 10-20 bucks of game plus showing the lights and explaining that everything is ray-traced to your mother during the holidays while she pretends to understand.
RT is really cool and potentially can speed up game development since map designers plus testers, plus a million others have to coordinate where lights make sense visually for the setting, where they are needed, where invisible lights are, how the player interacts with it when it moves, etc. RT automates a lot of that to a point of 'it just works' after a quick few times playing in unreal 5 to get used to thinking that way
