What game? I dont have one.
post yours OP
I'm making a game where you can do literally everything!
Not well. I'm very busy
So uh I have some porn 3d models I got from a patreon guy I follow.
are these models possible to use on a game? I never messed with game making before, but I like opening the models on blender and posing, changing outfits of the girls.
Can I add them to a game or something?
I checked some tags that I put my game in, and I discovered that one of the main tags has the game as the 3rd most popular game in that tag category and another has it as the top 10th and 16th games with their tags. I think my game will sell well.
i need to uhh make the game still
Neat I'm making a game where you can't do anything
I've given up on coding so now I'm working on grinding my meodiocre art and animation skills to trick some poor coder into thinking I'm anything more than an ideas guy.
Looks very responsive
The movement and animations are really well made.
I'm making a game that combines these two ideas
that's always my priority; might need to implement a different form of movement depending on lock-on state that includes strafing and stuff
its just rips from mixamo and stitched up some to make them more responsive; almost everything is placeholder; i don't even know what i want the character or weapons to even be at this point
Going well so far. I've decided to rip off the bandaid and make the boss sheet for a large asymmetrical boss, meaning I'll have to make the sheet twice for facing both left and right. It's an even bigger pain because this is a major character, so there will be a lot of animations outside of the boss fight too. That said, he's an interesting character so it should be fun.
Pretty shitty but thanks to the last threads i know i have tu focus more in the coding area and i know what i want to make, but now what is betterr option pygame, unity or what for making a space shooter game?
Not good. I've had an idea for a sequel to one of my earlier shittier games but school and life have been getting in the way.
I've been so stressed that I think I'm starting to lose my memory a tad. I don't know why. On paper I don't have much to do but I'm burnt out from everything that's happened the last few years.
If pygame is in python I don't think it's suitable for games user
Is it a 2d game? What do you mean with space shooter?
>Is it a 2d game? What do you mean with space shooter?
Yes a 2d game and just like the retro ones, like the ones in the old phones
Make what you think the easiest would be.
More of the display code was done today. Moving onto rendering items on the floor so I'll need to start doing floor graphics for these bad boys
excellent pixel art
Just submitted my game for review for early access. Wish me luck
Good luck!
Slow but steady. Got an elevator working in Twine and a sorta-jank way of handling game over. I've still got a bit of planning to do as far as puzzles and lewd scenes, but I feel confident that I can write some stuff now while I work on it. Also have to do more art. Have some portraits.
im making a short mini trailer to try to attract people for an upcoming demo so instead of deving im learning a bit about video editing, it's fun enough i guess and im not having issues doing what i want but it's frustrating as shti that it is so fuckings slow
I'm composing music with WarioWare D.I.Y.
very nice
I just don't have it in me to code all evening after coding all day at work
Slowly working on battle narration. For the actual attacks and stuff, there's gonna be a lot of faking it as I haven't added customized attack combos, positioning, part damage, and like 100 other features as this is just a proof-of-concept to start with.
Still not actually sure if the narration thing will be good or not.
in my experience coding for work is usually about figuring out wtf the person before me did so I can fix it or add whatever I'm supposed to add to it
whereas coding at home I get to just sit there and churn out code however I like, I get so much more done working alone because I know the entire codebase inside and out
Nigga it's saturday night, i'm busy being alone at home.
My game is set in a low fantasy version of the XIX century. But I want my girls to wear modern underwear since granny panties are ugly.
Do you guys think I can just waive it as part of the fantasy aspect? Like, in this world that's how women underwear look like, deal with it.
Or would that break immersion? That's very important.
There's also magic, witches, but normal human soldiers too in this game just so you know
What RPGs should I play to study fun party-based action combat, unique art direction, and long-winded dialogue that doesn’t bore you to death?
Undertale and SMT (Soul Hackers and Nocturne are the best for this along with SMTlV) are your best bets
Neverwinter nights and all its expansions
Baldurs gate
Icewind Dale
Basically old bioware stuff
finally uploaded a new version of my hacking game with the ascii art i've been doing for couple months
I don't really think any RPG has got party-based action combat right, you can be the first.
do not touch boomer rtwp shit with a 10 foot pole
What’s wrong with FF7R, Ys, and the Tales games?
A rough start.
Fucking kids, get off my lawn
CRPGs used to be big. He can at least play the games to get some ideas and add them if he likes it. Most crpgs were party based back then.
it's coming pretty well. just moved back into town and my best friend's been coming over to my apartment to playtest it. excited for next fest to
mine
Extremely soulful
At this point I'm wondering whether to remove the porn from my game or not. The more effort I put into the game the more I feel like the sex is taking away from it
Very aesthetic.
Looking nice, user. What is the game about?
It's not. Please stop asking, I'm going to cry.
Is this your game?
unconnected.itch.io
I'll try it out tomorrow.
It's ok sad cat, rest up and do what you can tomorrow.
those are some huge pecs
thanks
being a hackerman. i don't have a plot idea atm just servers and missions i want for them. this was the first demo with the art in it. so it's like the full rough idea minus a few extra mechanics to make hacking a bit more challenging
even if nobody likes it now, i can still use it as something in interviews
that's me, thanks. let me know if there's any problems or if it just is too confusing to work out
Alright, will do.
just watched this
youtube.com
pretty eye opening, recommend all devs that are targeting a niche to watch this.
I like how the ears feel like brush strokes user
Someone() in the last thread was asking me() what Im naming my game. Since its inspired by classic RPGs Ive decided to name it based on those. Right now the working title is "The Legend of the Last Deity". Its pretty much a Dragon Quest clone since I favor that series but I pull inspiration from a lot of rpg series (Phantasy Star, Legend of Legaia, Final Fantasy, and more).
Thanks, Anons. I try to keep the game in the style of an Amiga game. And 32 colours won't fuck up my style. Dithering will be a bitch though.
I have 0 coding/programming knowledge but i can make complete 3d models (with textures and rigs) and 2d assets by myself. Are there any retard-friendly engines that let me do simple stuff with my assets or do i have to learn to code in order to do anything with them?

I'd rather use my powers for chaotic neutrality
no, but you could probably make a mod for Grimrock or something like that
mazapan404.itch.io
I have a functional prototype, some industry guys at my class evaluation told me I should both finish it and work on the visuals and I probably do that during the entire month.
How easy is it to mod the game? I've been wanting to get into modding but most games I've checked out have a complex process just to put custom stuff in the game or it isnt well documented.
yes unreal it has visual programming. otherwise rpgmaker but it's basically also visual programming. this is all babby-tier though even a retard can do it. making things move on the screen requires logic, you can't just make shit happen from nowhere or by telekinesis. you have to tell the computer tell the computer what you want it to do. blueprints in unreal is just that. instead of code you do it visually, if you cant do that then I assume you cant even open a door in real life
