I can't.
I can't beat him, this is fucking ridiculous

And fuck this faggot
yeah just uninstall its literally the end of the game, so not that much incentive to beat him. If you got a good amount of playtime from it whats it matter?
You CAN beat him op. Put everything you learned together. Hesitation is death
IKUZO
the game literally has a button you just have to hold to take 0 damage. How are you struggling?
MAYOEBA
YABURERU
i'd happily have tried fighting him as many times as it took to beat him, but fighting genichiro beforehand every attempt kills my desire to try, same reason i never bothered with nameless king, the first stage is boring
but then how is he going to fight inner isshin
You can just use skill points to level up and do more damage. Unless you want to keep slowly chipping down his health.
If you could beat Butterfly you can most certainly beat the final boss.
If nothing else because the From's shitty camera can't hurt you in that big arena.
You've never beaten the game.
You know there's a posture system. If you block strong attacks or a series of attacks you will be staggered.
The first phase is like 30 seconds if you parry most of his attacks
yeah but 30 seconds every attempt gets old fast, not as tedious as nameless king first stage but still annoying
I can confirm that everything in my life went downhill after beating Saint Sword Isshin. So maybe postpone that fight. Have some children, travel the world. You are not ready yet. Hesitation is defeat.
And that's a good thing.
In this case you can rush him and if he looks like he's going to do something dangerous you can interrupt him with the mortal blade art.
Just don't hesitate bro.
>chipping away at health
>not going for posture breaks
ishygddt
Why did he fight sekiro? They could have worked together to fight the interior ministry
Use umbrella to block his big swings.
Funnily enough, this was one of the easiest bosses for me. His large size meant I could see what he was about to do and react in time much more consistently.
>so not that much incentive to beat him
Absolutely brutal cope.
He literally tells you how to beat him, just stop hesitating bro
But he has wind up attacks I have to hesitate to parry correctly.
Ishin is a fucking liar
Dude is hands down the best boss in all FROM games, you'll regret not beating him.
All I could ever see was his big orange taint
I can't even beat the red eyed mini boss.
Isshin is the perfect boss to wrap sekiro with. He uses every trick in the book.
And he personally congratulates you when you beat him
You do not hesitate.
Go for the posture kill in all phases. Use ichimonji double amd firecrackers
I love fighting him. Literally one of the most fun bosses ever.
jump a lot
Isshin only cares about his own strength
Just parry bro
Just stand mid-distance. That way he'll only do his fast draw attack. Parry & punish that back off to mid-distance again.
this. i was fighting him earlier and it really test you about everything you have learned over the course of the game
* "Parry & punish that THEN back off to mid-distance again."
I like how you basically earn the respect of everyone you defeat
Lady butterfly, owl, ishin, genichiro.
It's cool.
>Thats...my boy
>Red Eyed
>one trick pony
Either use the Flame Vent or the Umbrella
Or use the Flame Umbrella
>Put everything you learned together
So press L1 when he attacks and then press R1 until he attacks again?
Demon of hatred can easily be cheesed by making him fall off a cliff.
youtube.com
Isshin is fucking tough though.
I fucking hate this guy but literally all you have to do is dodge to the left and attack. No slipups allowed.
I managed to beat him on my first attempt but couldn't even get past his first phase when I tried to fight him again. It was the biggest fluke I've ever experienced
>not that much incentive to beat him.
How about the simply desire of the human spirit to overcome adversity? Or do you not have that?
I can't parry fast enough. The timing is too precise for my slow brain
>t. Salty because he can't beat isshin
>just glitch the game bro!
Fuck off
>inb4 "it's not a glitch!"
It absolutely is
Demon is incapable of falling off the cliff unless you leave the arena
just get tips from dsp, he destroyed isshin.
The hardest fight in the game was 2ape
I can believe that
DSP managed to fluke out a 4th attempt Sword Saint kill too
I beat him three times, two on NG+. I never had too much trouble with him except for his Shura version, that was fucking aids until I found out you can stun lock him with fireworks.
This boss is legit dog shit and one of the few blemishes on an amazing game.
Sure but, at that distance, he only does 2 (or 3, it's been a while) attacks which are (comparatively) easy to recognize and punish. I remember the jump and stomp.
The hard part is when he backs off and you have to get close again.
Normal Isshin is easy enough but I'm getting absolutely clapped by Inner Isshin
Hesitation doesn't mean waiting a few beats, especially if you're waiting deliberately. Hesitation means second guessing yourself, taking too long to decide what move to do next, struggling to choose to defend or attack. THAT'S what gets you killed. Decide on an action and commit to it, no doubts, no second guessing, no hesitation.
Ok but the music though youtu.be
>its literally the end of the game, so not that much incentive to beat him
that is just more incentive to beat him
Stop trying to perfect parry the Ashina cross, it's too much risk for too little reward. That move has two versions depending on your distance to the enemy. Instead of waiting for him to strike, when you see him sheath his katana, go for a single r1, doesn't matter if you miss, then immediately deflect, and then jump. Isshin does the same thing, it's much safer to do the close-range version than the long range version.
It *is* too fast to react (for most people, including myself). But the timing is always the same so after a few tries you're be able to tell when to parry.
I think that at a certain distance he only does one version.
That was the way I beat him. It was hard until I got the timing but after that I only had to worry about one move.
>I hesitated then was defeated
Maybe elden ring is more your speed
xQc beat him without learning any of the game's mechanics.
That's irrefutable proof that anyone can beat him.
I'm having more trouble on ishin ashina than I had on him now. I hate fire.
Yes, if you're close he'll do the pommel smack and then sweep, which is the reason why you do a single r1, of course also to do damage, but mostly to bring you close enough that he'll do the short range version.
what did he mean by this?
I also love how the major characters are all fucking obsessed with fighting and get super hyped at the prospect of fighting someone on their level. Isshin sounds like he's about to come when he pulls out his spear.
he said isshin ashina is harder than super saiyan isshin ashina
Oh, I didn't know that.
I stood at "mid" distance. There he always did the same version of Cross so just learned to parry that.
