I can't go back, not because of the graphics, but because of the modding hassle. I think I've had more complete crash fails of my PC with Oblivion than I had in any other modding experience combined. At this rate, it's better to just wait for Skyblivion to be completed (bahahhaha) than to waste time installing it again.

Now I've made it into a portable repack and will archive it on my game hdd so I can just unpack and play it whenever I want.
It boggles my mind why the bethesda modding community doesn't do this, probably because of muh credits autism.

Modpacks don't exist, and even if they did you can't find a bunch of older mods because the creators deleted them because Trump made them angry. Not even kidding, Skyrim modders are fucking divas.

nexus took ownership of the mods hosted on it so they can't be permanently deleted any more. all mods and versions are now archived.

I was one of those who funded that shit zoomer, it doesn't work because modders are trannies+ you need to actually pay people to get shit done properly.
If people do it out of autism instead of money, it is always half assed (modders)
cycle only repeats, same for every fucking game. Even fucking sims is the same, which is literally impossible to tranny up

No matter how good you make the character models look, you still have to play the base missions Todd put in the game. And that's the worst part. Especially Riften and the colleges. I usually load up all the mods fans made for new events/areas outside Skyrim and play those. Then explore the parts of Skyrim that are away from the cities. Then quit when I try to get through the absolutely boring main story.
