You're REALLY penniless in Anvil, not just playing a game from another perspective. Your best bet might be to join the fighters guild for equipment and shelter, but they'll expect you to do jobs, which will probably end in your death.

You could use your game world knowledge to pass yourself off as a seer or strange magic user to the mage's guild, that could get you in there, but it could also draw unwanted attention; if you start going off about the mythic dawn no one will believe you except the sleeper agents who will kill you shortly.

Your knowledge is your best asset, but also highly dangerous.
