I'll defend every game in your image except for Chronicles and Team Sonic Racing. Chronicles is self explanatory but TSR is a fucking insult especially after Transformed.
I also don't like advance 3 but I'm willing to give it a pass at the moment despite it's horrid level design. I mean if I open that can of worms I'd have to talk about Secret Rings and CD but I'm not in the mood.

Rivals is pretty shitty, Rivals 2 is mediocre but passable, Chronicles is an affront to the senses and its creation was a mortal sin

Since when was chronicles so hated? I haven't played it since it released but I remember enjoying it. The battles played like elite beat agents/ouendan and it was a sonic rpg. What was there not to like for a sonic fan?

Chronicles actually could've had potential, but development was rushed, and everything that happened with Ken Penders pretty much made an already unlikely sequel impossible. I honestly would love to see another take on a Sonic RPG, but only if it's done right.

I just beat Unleashed a couple hours ago on Series X, the definitive and only way to play it at 60fps, and although I like a lot about it the game just doesn't feel well made a lot of the time. Why has it gained a following over the years that now considers it among the best? I certainly like it better than SA2 but it's still a bit janky.

Take off Colors and replace it with Shadow The Hedgehog and we're good
