I'm shocked this isn't truly dead. The fact they call it "character news" gives me small hope this may actually address voice acting or future character updates, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much. This game just needs a big update with fancy branding at this point to get people back in, and I don't really see it happening.

I think the show ran its course in about four seasons. once it began introducing unnecessary characters, you could tell they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas

Poof was Season 6

There were so many points where they could have ended it. Channel Chasers was the first obvious one. End of Season 5 was the closest one to actually happening with Fairy Idol and the third Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour, but then they renewed the show afterwards. Season 6, which added Poof, at least had a huge three-part special at the end called Wishology that could have been a satisfying enough conclusion. Season 7 was where the show really started to show its wear and tear with the immediate introduction of Foop (evil Poof), and it kept getting worse from there. Seasons 9 and 10 were downright insulting.

Literally season 5 and below are great

It got bad when they removed majority of the secondary characters.

J., Elmer, Sanjay, Tootie, Trixie, Veronica, Francis, the Crimson Chin, Mama Cosmo, Anti-Cosmo, Mark Chang, Dr. Bender, etc.) were phased out and made no major appearances for several seasons afterwards. To make things more puzzling, Butch Hartman indicated in videos produced after the series ended that the writers hadn't forgotten about any of them, just no longer found them as entertaining as Crocker, Timmy's Dad snd Foop.
Even Vicky was barely featured as Crocker became the main villian.

Jimmy is actually primarily owned by Nickelodeon. DNA Productions helped to animate the film and TV series, but never actually owned the property. O Entertainment was also involved in the series creation, but has gone quiet ever since apparently greenlighting that Kung Pow sequel all the way back in 2015. Regardless, neither company actually had ownership over the property, since it was actually distributed solely by Paramount in all cases. Frederator owning the series is false information.

Now Jenny? Yeah, MLAATR was made under Frederator and is likely fucked over for similar reasons to Timmy. ChalkZone and Fanboy are the other obvious examples of Nickelodeon series under Frederator's belt. Interestingly, Danny Phantom is not involved with the company despite a lot of overlap in people who worked on it and FOP, which further supports Frederator being a problem for All-Star Brawl.

The show had a surprising jump back up in quality in the middle of Season 9 (which may as well be its own season for practical purposes) after Stephen Hillenburg joined for a few years before his death. The show somewhat deflanderized the characters and brought back a lot of ideas from the older seasons, but they also started taking on wackier animation closer in style to Ren & Stimpy. Seasons 9.5-11 were surprisingly good, but from 12 and beyond the crazy animation has started to become way more blatant to the point where it feels kind of forced now. That's not to even mention the current creators now being delegated to the two spin-offs right now, with The Patrick Star Show especially feeling like a fever dream.

It's already hard to argue that Season 4 was actually pretty good too despite being the first post-movie season, but you can at least point out the better episodes from there since people who grew up with 1-3 are at least likely to have watched those.
