They all go with the same shitty Chinese joystick manufacturer. Gone through 2 drifting joycons.

When it comes to controllers, I am a slut for them. On Xbox, I have so many different ones just because I like the color. Waiting for the purple shell for the PS5 to go on sale, so that I can buy that along with a purple controller.

I charged it with a quick charger cable, probably fried it, now if i charge it with a normal charger orange light doesnt pop on but at least the white flashing occurs when pressing ps button, so did it fried it?

Best course of action when recieving a nintendo switch is use the joycons until the first sign of drift then immediately take them to gamestop and trade them in for a pro controller. Let some other fag deal with that problem.

Launch PS4 and Xbone controllers still had good sticks and both of mine still work flawlessly unlike newer versions/models that break within a year. Hell I still have PS1, PS2 and GC controllers that have no problems.

Protip: ALL major controller manufacturer's use the same analog sticks from the same company, ALPS, and they have been using them for at least 20 years. The stick mechanisms haven't gotten any worse, in fact they've doubled rated lifetime use (1 million cycles to 2 million), and accuracy has gone from 8bit precision to 10bit.

Because they're the most complex thing in a controller with the most moving parts, and they've always been the first thing to go.

The ps5 controller lasts literally 3 or 4 hours, and had bad stick drift. My xbox controller lasts me a few days

I have GC and PS2 controllers that still have perfectly working sticks. I've played Smash with the same GC launch controller and it still works when most of my DS4s have stick drift or other deadzone issues.

Controllers really do need the white and black face buttons added to the front and some back buttons as well. The amount of games with wheel menus sucks. Ever since apex the ping button has been added and it just cramps more things the player needs quick access into to contextual buttons and wheel; menus. Controllers need more inputs like a keyboard has
