Prototype 2 and Marlow Briggs are the only games I've enjoyed with a black protagonist.

It didn't. It didn't sell a ton at launch but it keeps hanging around in the NPD charts for months on end despite that, and always gets holiday bumps because of the Christmas theme and synergy with other Spiderman movies pumped out during that season.

The games the third most profitable Sony game of all time now in terms of dollar sales, right behind the original Spiderman and God of War. Even if you chalk a lot of that up to sales and PS5 bundles it clearly did its job as a smaller scale spinoff to support the PS5 launch. I'm not here to shill for Sony but that headline is grossly out of date when the games been a slow burner like Ring Fit Adventure.
