trannies

not long enough

can't save sellen

Loved the open world in principle. Before release I expected to hate it but it turned out that I didn't even wanna do legacy dungeons cause I just wanted to keep exploring
Problem is that it's just too much. At the end of Atlus and Mountaintops, I didn't check out any of the catacombs anymore

haven't made any frens yet xd

open world

Damage is way too fucking high

Leyndell is too small for a capital city

open world kills replayability

combat system is getting old

All dragon fights are absolutely horrible.

>open world kills replayability
wut?

My biggest complaint is I don't have more time to play it since I'm a full-time wagecuck.

I politely disagree. They are merely mediocre at best, not horrible. Even the Magma Wyrm, which pissed me off wasn't that bad, just kind of meh.

My biggest complaint would be how some of the smaller caves are same-y.

He's saying he doesn't wanna do all that shit again on a replay
I've felt that way since DS1

The story's presentation could have been more ambitious, there's material there in the lore and the character cast, but it's held back by From's insistance to stick to their Dark souls design

>women

play a different weapon?

What build? Teach me your ways

-The combat is fucking garbage.
-Most of the caves and dungeons are the same boring shit and the bosses you find inside are mostly just regular enemies with a boss healthbar.
-Mountaintops and consecrated snowfield are fucking garbage.
That's about it.

I hate fighting dragons and this game has like 100 of them
also copypasted bosses

>No farms and nobody eats anything
>No toilets
What dung eater even eats?

They said it was going to be "big dark souls", the problem is that it turned out to be big dark souls 2.

>open world kills replayability
yes

grinding

worst grinding of any souls by far

>game never bothers to explain Marika's tax policy

But you don't have to do all that shit.

Last 1/3rd was significantly worse than the rest of game. Fighting the same boss for 8th time isn't fun. The only bits of the endgame I enjoyed were Mohg and Godfrey. Even then, Mohg was brought down somewhat by the completely unnecessary fight with his first phase in the sewers.

I never felt a need to grind for anything in this game.

how? grinding what? ds3 has the worst by far

I know, but some people are autismal

>What's your biggest complaint?
It's shit compared to their last game

Boss reuse.

It's not on Switch

>play the same genre
>well this is getting old
maybe dont replay every fuckin souls game to get ready for a new game?
if all you fucking play is fps of fucking course you will get bored of playing fps

>He farmed souls
kek.

>Bosses are designed to waste your time in the most boring way possible instead of being challenging/engaging
>Caelid and mountaintops are missing proper legacy dungeons
>existence of bleed makes every other melee option pointless
>balance is non existent
that said, I still enjoy it more than 3

Not enough NPCs and quests. The world and especially the hub area feels deserted for like 70% of the game when nothing ever happens in there.

I was missing 1 achievement. The dragon boss in crumbling azula or whatever. So I started NG+ and literally just ran past all the enemies and only did mandatory bosses with my overpowered weapons. I made it all the way there in like 2 hours. It shows just how much filler the open world is

>grinding
you dont like the games, try kirby maybe?

>reused bosses
>caves/dungeons feel the same
>open world is tiresome on second+ playthoughs
>too long
>fucked balance
>fucked difficulty progression

It's not that hard to achieve, just combo your buffs, a good example is a strength build, with a colossal sword, using the war cry ash of war, you use golden vow from a dagger in your left hand, drink the flask with charge attack and poise tears, axe talisman, and, maybe "flame Grant me strength", hold R2 and watch what's in front of you die, while you poise through some ridiculous stuff, there are a lot of other absurd builds with insane damage, everything in this game does that, bosses that almost 1 shot 40+ vigor, and players doing 1.6k damage per second with the halo scythe weapon art

>Death rune is fucked so no one can die
>HUR BUT WHY DO BOSSES STAY DEAD
>HUR BUT WHY DO SOME ENEMIES STAY DEAD
>HUR BUT WHY DO NPCS STAY DEAD
I mean he has a point you know

>optional content is """filler"""
kek

Game is super easy on lv1 run

Honestly there was no reason for the snow mountain area. It should've entirely been an optional area the option to burn the Erdtree with Melina should've been given to you right as you beat Morgott and then you continue straight to Farum Azula

it gave me the horrible feeling of playing a singleplayer mmo when I got to Altus, last time I felt that was with kingdoms of amalur

This. I was level 150 when I left the capital for the mountains. Unless he meant grinding for stones

So much reused shit. Hated fighting the same boss 20 times.

It's lonely.

he migbt be grinding for cool armor pieces for all we know until user decides to respond

>fucked difficulty progression
and i can't emphasize this enough, early game up to Margit was hard, from there up to Malenia the game was piss easy.
But that's just open worlds in general, only Gothic did it properly without level scaling.

Shit bosses
Summon ashes
Shit bosses justified by summon ashes
Malenia ignoring game mechanics
Yea Forums thinking they're doing no hit RL1 runs while talking about the game

Waterfowl

Every difficult boss
>Slow, readable attack
>Slow, readable attack
>Slow, readable attack
>Slow, readable attack
>WHOOOOSH BOSS FLIES ACROSS THE SCREEN AND KILLS YOU IN ONE HIT

I always hated how dark souls handled npc's and sidequests, they just spout random shit, appear in random places at random times, say more random shit and either turn on you or die

BUT IT DEEP BIGOT

open world bosses, especially dragons
inconsistency with characters like Sellen or Astel that appear after being killed or appear in two places
quest npcs do nothing 99% of the time unless you talk to them in a very specific timing
some summons are too strong but endgame bosses are a pain in the butt solo

unironically ruined

radagon is literally "teleports behind you"

ya I know..mental illness sucks

Too much reused content (bosses, dungeons etc) and spirit ashes
I don't like OST and lore/story but it's not that important for me.
