Bloodborne is a genuinely good game. The combat "feels" great, the sounds of your weapon slashing in to shit, the thunder of a successful parry, the Rally system allows you to be aggressive and keep struggling even when you should really heal, the lack of a Shield worth a damn until the second to last boss in the DLC(even then it's only good for ranged attacks) forces you to be offensive, not hide behind a shield n poke. Magic is pretty mediocre in Bloodborne. You can't cheese the game with an Arcane Build, there is no giant fuck off Lazor beam of death, no throwing rocks at everything until it falls over nice n prepped for some penetration. The art style and world stand out. No many others are doing the Gothic Victorian visual style now in days.

It's not a Perfect game. It has it's issues, the slowdown/stuttering is really REALLY bad at times. Chalice Dungeons are horrible. Even if you just do the required ones for the Platinum, There is a high chance by the time you kill Queen Yarnahm you will be very much "done" with the game, well to be honest you will be "done" long before you get to her. The fun has been tainted by foul magics. Fuck Amy btw.
