do wotlk still have the worst dungeons in wow?

>Deviate from the gameplay loop for 5 minutes
>The hordie falls apart

>hop on green dragons
>collect valors
whats the issue

people cant control dragons or think 3 dimensional
the heal boss in ice crown citadel was the same, never had a problem with it

>green
wut, we always went for bronze drakes
the only annoying thing about the dungeon is if someone pulls the fucking trash when traveling between platforms

I unironically liked the Occulus.

The point isn't that it's hard, but that a very large portion of the base had trouble with it. They had to add extra loot just to bribe people into running it

im not sure if tbc or wotlk heroics were harder

in tbc the only pants shitters were shattered halls but in wotlk ya had occy and fuckin halls of reflection.

>piss easy dungeon
>get an extra loot box at the end
I don't see the issue

Occulus was just a chore after your first run it wasn't difficult like all the midwits ITT are saying

this nigga never pugged mgt heroic

wotlk was when every healer had infinite mana and you could spam flash heals constantly
it was a fucking joke

>I don't see the issue
I guess you never ran it back in the day, then

WotLK dungeons are what made people have the mindset that you should just group up everything any aoe it down. There was no more need to CC or making sure to only pull 1 pack at a time.
They briefly changed it back in Cataclysm but the collective outcry of the playerbase wanting their piss-easy heroics back made them nerf them all back so that players could mass-pull everything again.

do people instantly kick you out without a word if you make a mistake in dungeons these days?

Wonder if blizz will bother fixing the red drake chain fire bug. You can speedrun the dungeon in like 5 minutes

They are about the same if you did those wotlk heroics during their patches. WotLK's itemization caused ilvls to bloat immensely (+5 for every patch welfare/heroic/10m/10H/25m/25H) so most of the release dungeons could be AOEed mindlessly around Ulduar onward.

Oculus was a cool dungeon. Shame the WoWdrone gets annoyed anytime he can‘t beat a training dummy with his flashing 4 button rotation.

Hate you all, you fucking retards.

tbc dungos were overtuned. most waddlekay heroics were a complete joke outside of a couple mechanics. the chase thing with the lich king was kinda hard iirc but i was also a retarded prot pally.

yes but it also had dungeon finder which meant every fucking tank thought he can tank with a def trinket

i still remember seeing a ret-pally in cloth gear

this and nexus had the best dungeon music/ambience

>I don't see the issue
The average MMO player can barely control their own character. Giving them three new action buttons that require them to read what they're for is like asking a toddler to sit through a lecture on thirteenth century Hungarian economics. On top of that they have to move along the Z-axis to avoid the shit the last boss does. Pugging Oculus is a total disaster and will make you want to quit the game.

I still remember holy paladin being a block tank, threat generator and healer at the same time.
Was always nice to encounter shitter tanks who couldnt mark, stun or hold aggro, then when the whole group flipped their shit for obvious reasons they would pull two groups and leave the dungeon, expecting us to do.
Shame for them really.

>do people instantly kick you out without a word if you make a mistake in dungeons these days?
In group finder, yes. You will be replaced in 3 seconds.

In Mythic+ they just immediately drop group and completely fuck you over and waste your key. Don't play WoW with strangers.

Yeah I remember tank-booted LFDs getting salvaged by Holy Pallies, DKs, Boomkins and even my BM hunter pet-tanking.

Yes. But Cata skills were literally dumbed down and designed for aoe tanking so there can't really be a discussion about hard cata content.

just play better lmao

First boss of Mana Tombs and Blood Furnace gauntlet were pretty tough too. Arcatraz also has some hairy pulls.

are you a cuck?

>But Cata skills were literally dumbed down
lol
lmao
Wrathbabies are so delusional its unreal. Cata is the first time a healer needed to not have downs

Yes.

sure, cata totally didnt give interrupts to all classes, didnt "streamline" class buffs, didnt give all tank classes aoe debuff skills with high threat generation
none of that happened, sure
wrath is shit too and the only good thin is pvp, pvecucks should kill themselves desu

ran this as a healer back in the day, so many changes to this dungeon because of autism, i enjoyed it because it was different

Literally none of that is dumbing down lmao
Wrathbabies really think passive class buffs are skillful when doing 2 button rotations

if you're playing wow and not pveing you're a fucking retard. play a game actually designed from the ground up for pvp not a glorified minigame.

>the only good thing is pvp
Yeah wrath pvp is a hoot if you like trying to 5v1 a raid boss unholy DK with a pet that can solo a clothie and a self-res on a twenty minute timer. Have fun in Wintergrasp.

Pug shitters would literally skip Pandemonious all the time. Same with the Arcatraz boss.

lol
hardest wotlk heroic was easier than shattered halls normal

lots of children here who think quoting wille videos makes them look old enough to have experienced wotlk when it came out

It's gotta be Violet Hold for me.

Sethekk Halls was shit if you couldn't get tremor totem. HoR was literally the only dungeon you had to try in in all of WotLK.

Cata had a completely different tank model, saying it was easy because threat was usually not a problem is retarded.

Yep.
I still remember when HoR came out, all the fucking retards who couldn't follow simple fucking orders and kept wiping.
JUST STAND BEHIND THIS FUCKING CORNER
AAAAAHHHHH

cataclysm launch heroics were the only time heroics were decently challenging
no wonder it was nerfed by 30%+ across the board only a month into the launch

LMAO this easy place, whats the problem? Don't know your ABC's? It's one of the fastest dungeons

is this a fucking joke? wotlk heroics were brainless AoEfests while in TBC tanks refusing to run shit like shattered halls and magister's terrace with less than 3 CCs was commonplace

WotLK dungeons are famous for just smashing AoE and be done with it, it wasn't so difficult may be except HoR with some target priority. Cata is totally different in design because they want to change it back then, making dungeons a slog to go through not to mention those dungeons are big already. I still enjoy Vortex Pinnacle though.

>i know you like your character but use this flying tank vehicle with 4 buttons and press 11121111211112

M+ is fun but just like most multiplayer games, players ruined it.

worlo is gonna be pretty weird a year from now
>retail is full of helping dragons, even playing as them
>classic is dragon genocide

tanks being redesigned for aoe was wrath not cata

no they fucked up and made all of 3.0 a joke

>people would rather auto fly to these dogshit 15 minute dungeons instead of just getting teleported to them

all wotlk launch raids were cleared on the 2nd day of release

same, there's so much in wotlk that's testing the waters with new ideas and gameplay, which could be improved upon to become amazing
but retards can't handle it so everything was dumbed down instead

>people suddenly pretend they like oculus
you arent fooling anyone faggots

tbc was definetly harder
tbc required a gameplan (priority targetting and CC), which if you followed it trivialized heroics
which was a good thing

god I love tbc prot warrior

>fast dungeon
>FREE gems
>filters retards
Literally perfect.

>hop on green dragons
Retard.

Magisters Terrace, Shattered Halls and Arcatraz at their appropiate gear levels could be challenging but otherwise they aren't that hard. Now Wrath heroics by their nature weren't hard infact we used to mass pull and AoE just about everything outside of the ICC heroics until you got that gear level. You could even pulls mobs to Svala Sorrowgrave so the sword lands on them.

oof
