They're gonna drop this shit faster than Three Kingdoms
They're gonna drop this shit faster than Three Kingdoms
damn I thought that was fake
It is honestly impressive they made a mode less fun than vortex
LMAO we did it reddit!
How did they fuck up so bad?
Sheer incompetence, bad management and a basic lack of understanding of why people liked W2 and what was expected of W3.
What happened?
>half a year to make some basic adjustments
>over half a year to change replenishment rates ???
>over half a year for immortal empires BETA
>over half a year for fucking blood effects
shit's fucked
new 'nic
Holy shit, I can't believe the reviews are actually mostly negative LMAO
Not only that, but the people giving postitives come across as coping retards who'd have fun playing with turds
They fucked up the main gameplay loop of TW which is impressive, the game has a ton of bugs, the campaign sucks, the campaign map sucks, Sega took the main team off the game and handed a half broken mess to the DLC (the one that pretty much saved WH2) who in turn now have to throw their enitre schedule overboard to accomedate the bugfixes, no IE a month after release etc.
They fucked up in every way possible
Damn, I feel bad for the fans. Warhammer games in general are so prone to fail, and almost always doomed to do so from day one. What a shame.
>held off getting 3 at launch because I figured it'd be buggy
>turns out it was just shit
What a goddamned shame.
I'm honestly impressed with how bad the campaign is. I don't think anyone would call 2's even decent, but 3's campaign truly sets a new standard for the most unfun shit ever put in a video game. It is mind-boggling that anyone sat down and played this then said "excellent, ship it". I'm not sure I could make something worse if you put a gun to my head.
I blame that Mandalore faggot
>Vanilla WH3 is a step down from WH2
Why the fuck didn't they implement the QoL from the latest build from WH2? Is the concept of git/version control foreign to them?
Lmao same, I never trust CA with a launch any more plus I'm not interested in any of the new races, but it actually looks like I might never buy this one
Frankly I am glad that our friendly Creative Assembly Partnered YouTube Content Creators were looking out for us.
what did he do?
Well, 2 is better, but its not nearly as cataclysmic as people make it out to be.
I will still probably get chaos dwarves when they come out to play another campaign.
>Hey boss, we just added a campaign mechanic that discourages going out and painting the map, y'know the thing Total War is known for
>Brilliant, ship it without doing any QA
Shill 2 while playing damage control for the dlc. Haven't seen his review of 3 but I bet he sucks it off hard for sponsorship money.
Can you ignore the souls race like you could the vortex?
>Haven't seen his review of 3 but I bet he sucks it off hard for sponsorship money
since the most recent changes yeah, previously you could not
You can mod it out but the game then becomes 100 turns of fighting the same kind of enemy since the souls race covers up the fact that there isn't anything on the map.
Nope. The moment the AI gets 4 souls you have to camp the forge and kill their army otherwise they win in two turns. You don't even get anything for doing this besides not losing either.
no lol
lmao
Except thats not true anymore. If you are going to discuss the game, it would be nice to keep up with the patchnotes.
i'm just laughing thinking about all the suckers buying this shit on launch after wh2 turned into a buggy mess post-vampire coast
What? This is the same guy who tried to accuse a random eceleb of being a rapist based on shitty evidence and never apologized.
>They're gonna drop this shit faster than Three Kingdoms
Doubtful. I'd agree with you if CA had some sort of major project releasing soon but that's not the case.
Just because they changed it so that the AI loses souls doesn't mean you can ignore the mechanic so that guy isn't really wrong desu.
>computer can lose souls now
>yeah you can totally ignore the campaign entirely h-haha
How much do they pay you, chief.
>The Future of Total War: Warhammer 3 dev blog
I've seen it reported in a few places that the main development team have already started work on the next project and left this one to the DLC team. Makes sense, given that immortal empires won't even enter beta for half a year.
>wh2 turned into a buggy mess post-vampire coast
Since when that's the case? WH2 was the most buggy at launch and when ME dropped. Since then it's been getting steady fixes (apart from CA dropping the ball and leaving the ambush bug untouched before moving on to WH3).
you can permanently prevent portals from opening in your territory and set back the AI 100+ turns with a single battle, it's harder to ignore vortex in wh2
That is literally still true though, the fuck are you talking about?
Why denuvo games always shit
So you can't ignore it.
You can ignore it as much as possible while still playing the campaign. Or you can mod it out with workshop if you are not braindead. Or an ini edit.
Not enough to deal with people like you who just whine constantly.
I’m so glad fantasy shit is finally fucking dead. Thank fucking god.
>it's harder to ignore vortex in wh2
Did you play vortex? You can just ignore it completely and just do an easy battle every now and then that you literally get teleported to to prevent the AI from winning
There's a ton wrong with it that its hard to make it short
>doesn't have any improvements from other Total War games released since warham 2
>is actually based on a pre-release version of warham 2 so it doesn't have any bugfixes/improvements that game got over its life
>features a shit campaign that is even worse and more annoying than warham 2
>new gameplay additions and features are total garbage and make the game less fun
>none of the core issues players have had with the game were improved
>its going to take them another 6 months still to release a balance patch plus DLC for blood when enemies hit each other
>the main thing everyone bought the game for - immortal empires, where you can play every faction, won't be in the game for another 6-9 months
It just goes on like this. It's the single best selling total war game to date, too lol
But I think creative assembly is done as a company after this.
also their next game is a first person shooter
Yeah, but it's not like their next huge project is releasing in 6 months or a year. If they can WH3 anytime soon, they'll be left with barely any income.
>the main development team have already started work on the next project and left this one to the DLC team
It's funny how the main team at CA is full of fucking hacks and the DLC team seems to be the competent one.
you do the exact same thing here you dumb fuck
I genuinely and honestly believe a bunch of these AAA companies don't do version control. It's the only way it makes sense for these sorts of things to happen.
No you can't because you have to actually get to the forge to stop them
>oh what's that you've closed all the portals near you permanently lol get fucked then mate
Its more that those factions don't have an easy way to boost their own replenishment rate, for Tzeentch that has barrier its actually more a re-balancing thing that they've fucked the wording on.
Time scale is still monumentally bad though and the fact it took them this long to say anything and they still act like everythings good. Theres not even a fake apology like "we're sorry this doesn't fit with everyones expectations".
You have to move your army through the portal and wait for when the AI decides to show up and finish the game. Vortex it gave you a count down of how many turns you had to make an army then teleport to the final battle. It's a small difference but makes one much more tolerable.
Warhammer 2 is one of my most favourite games
>Warhammer chuds get three games in six years and they still complain
He literally says not to buy it at full price and wait for a sale.
Wh2 being buggy is one thing, this is basically like the game isn't even what people were promised
it's not that its buggy, because yea it is, its that literally basic fucking shit that everyone expected isn't even in the game and won't be for another year assuming they don't just take the money and run
>someone saved my edit of that old-ass reaction image
Cool.
>Fantasy is dead
Don't worry, Sci-Fi is next
Quality over quantity, mate. I'd rather take 2 great DLCs instead of 10 mediocre ones.
for one they started 3 with an older version of 2 than what was currently released. so they reintroduced old bugs
Where my spearmannii bros at?
This.
On its own WH3 is just okay? Its not terrible and the factions are mostly fun to play outside a few balance issues.
The real problem is why the fuck would you play 3 when 2 has so much more to offer, 3's existence is negated by its own fucking predecessor
How is Warhammer 2 bugged? I played this game for 1,4k hours and never encountered a single one
it was rising steadily and peaked at Tomb Kings, then something happened and it seemed like all the talent left the studio
vamp coast patch was by far the most broken one and the issues just kept piling up ever since, the best thing they did since that one was the greenskin rework and even that was marred by their seemingly weak understanding of how their own game works
I still don't understand why unless these two are right
Good.
It's about time they focused on actual game mechanic and not flashy units that are spasmy and can't even finish their attack animation.
Oh who am I kidding, next historic total war game will have unbalanced single entity units as did 3K.
>Histfans think CA won't fuck up the next history title completely
They won't drop it retard.
They are under contract and still need to make DLCs.
After at least one year it will be good, but holy shit how thy botchered the launch and the roadmap...
No idea what bugs you're talking about. I've been playing WH2 for a long time and the only ones I recall are the gate bug and the ambush bug (this one's very recent).
>peaked at Tomb Kings, then something happened and it seemed like all the talent left the studio
Their DLC team is very hit and miss. They can produce some high-quality content and then shit the bed in the next round.
ridiculously unfinished skill and research trees. poor optimization. unbalanced units overall. trash replenishment for certain factions. flanderized kislev. they are extremely slow to fix these issue. to his, add the following
>mobile phone towers in sieges
>blood that comes after 6-7 months (all other total wars got it after 1 month)
>immortal empires campaign BETA after 6-7 months (total war warhammer 2 got it after 1 month)
>no new content for the entire year
Here's the leaked roster
>Ultramarines
>Blood Ravens
>Space Wolves
>Black Legion
>Pre-order faction: Sister of Battle
Can't wait to see how they'll fuck this one up
maybe
>Crusades bad
>Jihad good
?
Because we want the full experience fast and they take too much time.
Makes you think what they really did all the time.
