Why do they hate pc? Is it some kind of deal they have with Snoy?

They're nips. Nips have traditionally PC gaming outside of porn games. It's in recent times that they have warmed up to compatibles, but some are still resistant to money.
Any Atlus port was probably Sega strong-arming them into doing it
They are a very traditional company and very Japanese focused. Luckily Sega is forcing the issue because of how much success their European branch and Yakuza has on PC.
You'll never get 5 Royal, Personafaggot
>inb4 mega steamie cope that the vanilla 5 is better.
I will never understand Nip decisions when it comes to PC. I just don't are anymore.
They're criminally japanese
>be me in 2013
>luv yakuza
>yakuza is treated like a shitty japanese GTA by the internef
>realise Yakuza 5 will never come to the west
>the idea of yakuza on PC is laughable
Oh how times change...
Same reason Nintendo is so fucking retarded when it comes to online. Jap companies HATE change and will outright refuse to adopt new technologies. An alarmingly high percentage of companies only use fax and will not use scan to email or docusign.
Sony's animation studios did both the P4 and P5 anime, so yeah there's probably a deal.
>hasn't developed a game for Xbox since Catherine on 360
>"B-but boohoo muh peecee!!"
If there's any platform that Atlus hates, it's Xbox. You pcniggers got P4G, P5S, and the P4AU rerelease yet you still complain
>hasn't developed a game for Xbox since Catherine on 360
Yeah, but Jap companies not porting shit to Xbox is pretty common.
Why is Sega so pro-PC?
Persona 4 and the latest games have been coming to PC. Persona 5 strikers, P4AU re release, SMT soul hackers 2 is as well. SMT 5 is still on switch tho
SMTV was in the Nvidia leak, there's a good chance there was an exclusivity deal for a year(maybe 2) but it should be on PC eventually.
Why wasn't Sakura Wars ported to PC?
>13 sentinels sold 400k copies
>could sell 400k more if they bring it to pc
>dont
..
They ended up with a good amount of European devs making simulators and rts games. Somehow their idea for making games more western focused linked with making them available on PC.
I think it is a timed exclusive thing because didnt nintendo chip in on making it a worldwide release at same time?
Xbox had better Japanese support than pc until the Xbone launch.
Will Atlus ever make another game like Catherine
Means little as the switch uses Nvidia chips
I want it on Xbox. Haven't bought it despite owning a PS4 because I assumed it would be a timed exclusive since all of Yakuza became multiplat eventually.
Still gonna hope cause Monster hunter came to PC a year after
money
Why singleing out Sony when most Atlus games are exclusive to Nintendo ? (SMT V, SMT IV, TMS, all their DS and 3DS games...)
Fair enough, but the leak also had Bayo 3 and Mario+Rabids so I'm doubtful
The original Xbox had great japanese support early on in its life. Japanese devs fucking loved that piece of kit but unfortunately Microsoft fucked up their Japanese marketing which caused it to fail over there, had they not been as retarded we could easily have seen a bunch of great Japanese exclusives for the xbox.
P5=/=P5R, my guy.
You should have showed them footage of P5R running on Spine.
The Nintendo stuff makes sense because Switch still sells in Japan. Playstation's only real last link to being the home of jrpgs is buying exclusivity from Square Enix.
Wtf? So it's fine for them to have a bias but only if it's for Nintendo? The Wii sold millions more than the PS3 yet the PS3 still had tons of Japanese exclusives. Even Xbox had some despite having pitiful sales in Japan. Just sounds kind of fanboyish
>The Nintendo stuff makes sense because Switch still sells in Japan
It really doesn't make sense because Japan is the 4th largest market behind the US, China, and Europe. PC makes way too much money in comparison to everything else thanks to China and their VPNs. When even Sony is porting their first party games to PC, that should tell you where the money is at.
>PC makes way to much money in comparison to everything else
Not really consoles still consist $10 billion more then the PC market.
p5 is 100 hours of content
p5r has 20 more hours
Thats like saying you didnt eat a burger because you didnt order fries with it
China is a crapshoot. You either bend to government whims or hope your game can spread virally through grey market without any real advertising. There is no way Persona 5 is an approved game in China.

>Thats like saying you didnt eat a burger because you didnt order fries with it
I bet that sounded much better in your head, but what you just said makes no sense.
P5R is an enhanced rerelease of P5, on the same vein as P4's Golden versions.
Just like it happens with the Pokémon games for example, it is the definitive version of P5.
Didn't china or korea or some shit get some nvidia game streaming thing where it had nintendo games on PC. Maybe thats it
The nvidia shield got a Mario game but only in china and that was before Nintendo could sell switches there
Persona 5 strikers (the sequal) mentions none of the content from P5R. Only P5 vanilla. So if you cant play royal its no big deal right now,
Who gives a shit about Xboxfags anyway?
Because all the Nintendo megaten exclusives until SMTV came out were DS and 3DS games which takes a lot more effort to port than putting P5 on Steam and those games are really niche?
Just but it already.
to be fair it's hard to justify playing through an 100 hour game like p5 a 2nd time, so you might as well make the most of it the first time.
PS4 was also selling in Japan. PS5 isn't because of the chip shortage.
Atlus doesn't do X-box because their shit doesn't sell there. Same reason most other Weeb devs left.
>Persona 5 campaign= big mac
>dlc and small improvements in P5R= fries
I still palyed the whole story
I played through P5 vanilla like 4 times before P5R came. I didn't justify it at all. I just said "hey I liked that game. I wanna play it again" a few times. When P5R came I played it twice so far.
Atlus don't hate the PC, they hate all platforms and they especially hate westerners. They think it's still the 90s where Japanese games should be occasionally released here if the suits think it's "dumb enough" for the western audience. They would've gone out of business long ago if they were independent.
I really should but after buying the Kingdom Hearts HD Collection, platinuming KH1, and then seeing it get announced for Xbox just a few months later, I no longer feel comfortable buying third party PlayStation exclusives. Plus the director of the game has literally said they're open to bringing it to more platforms "based on where there is demand" which implies the game isn't moneyhatted
The better question is why SEGA aren't pushing more Atlus games onto PC. P4G did well on Steam. At this point I legitimately think P5/R are locked down by insanely prohibitive/long Sony contracts.
Cash
Because P5S was in development around the same time as P5R. P5S is a sequel to P5, not P5R.
Since it still talks about the main story beats of P5, it can still be considered a sequel to P5R by extension.
I never talked about P5S though.
Considering you missed the last chunk of it, I'd say you didn't.
And you also didn't get to experience all the other QoL features P5R has.
Mind you, none of this matters. The original user talked about P5R, and you replied with a pic of P5, soo... you're in the wrong regardless of your own beefs with P5R pal.
It's been 3 years. I doubt it's coming to Xbox now. Maybe it'll be on the switch?
Total War and Football Manager. They have a huge stake in PC and are looking to expand. Unfortunately, it has been taking a long time to get their games ported.
>you didnt play 20 hours of a 120 hour game so you dint beat it
you are worse than soulsniggers
I love how none of the replies to this post bothered mentioning SH2.
>you didn't beat it
Let's clear up something very quickly here; you said that, not me.
I'm simply saying that you didn't play the superior version of the game, and that you replied to an user who talked about P5R with a picture of P5, which is not the same.
i bought a ps4 just to play yakuza 3-6 and they came out on pc later that same year
reeeeeee
smt5 being a switch exclusive blows my mind
like what the hell are they doing
Doesnt matter tho
The only real content i missed was the dlc
nta, but if i'm being honest.. i personally feel like p3fes, p4gold, p5r extra content is very low quality and makes the game drag out so horribly at the end that it severely hurts the overall quality of the games.. p4 specifically was super bad: hey it's the final boss.. jk here's the TRUE final boss.. wait, but this is the TRUE TRUE final boss
i intentionally bought and played p5 instead of p5r because i believe that all re-releases of games are objectively worse and enjoy playing them as they were at vanilla launch :)
Apparently making a good business decision seeing as SMTV is now the best selling game in the series
And all the other QoL features, as I said.
But again, it doesn't matter if you played P5 or not. You still didn't play P5R, and you still replied to an user who talked about P5R with a pic of P5 :^)
>Verification not required.
if it's the best selling game in the series and is a switch exclusive, wouldn't it stand to reason that it would have sold a massive amount more copies if it was on other systems/pc?
Atlus is retarded and they're also a Japanese company. It's like the one two punch of stupidity
Why would it? Nintendo gave it a bunch of free advertising in their directs so I'm gonna say no
I think the days of Atlus ignoring PC and even XBox are coming to an end. SH2 is a worldwide release on a bunch of platforms including PC. There can still be timed exclusives though.
