bad influence from world, like so many franchises now it's been permanently ruined by mass appeal
End game (tower defense) is not appealing. You just have nothing to play. Who the fuck give the braindead idea of tower defense?
It would've been a much better game if they had just copypasted directly from World instead of doing all the dumb shit they added to Rise. Ichinose retardation goes way back.
It's boring, looks and feels like plastic, has zero mass, cooldown skills are a terrible mechanic and none of the cool new monsters have any harder variants. Maybe Sunbreak can fix it, it really wants to be a fun game but every time I fire it up I can't think of anything to actually do.
I don't like the wirebug skills. Positioning and timing should play a bigger role than just zipping through the map and unloading hekin epic combos. I also don't like the dogs. Compared to world. The monster ai and behaviour is a step back.
They pulled the same dumb shit in MHGU with Hunter Arts. Please stop with these cooldown shit skills. MH should strive to be as grounded as possible. These cooldown skills just destroy the rhythm of the combat and turns it into a button masher. They're the worst thing to have happened MH. Rise would've been better without those.
Nothing. It's a fantastic game.
why are we still pretending this game was bad? It had way more content than World launch and is about to surpass Iceborne content next month
World was an actual sequel with groundbreaking innovations.
Rise is just a low-budget rush job by the B-team and it shows in every way.
>muh monster count
Doesn't count when almost all of them are lazy World ports with mimimum rework done.
