I got mine for free when I saw a business throwing them away

No. Don't fall for the ergo meme.

Yeah, they're all garbage plastic shit that will only last a few years.
Really wish someone would just make actual Car Seat tier chairs.

You also have to buy $1500 diamond HDMI cables

>pay $30 for amazon chair
>canister explodes and the guard is wooden
>blowback from the canister shoots directly into ass
>die from wood shrapnel in ass
Don't let it happen to you

Yes
You only have one spine. Treat it well

I can't afford to have a spine

yes

>sitting on an 18 year old aeron

no. just buy some comfy $40 chink shit and slap on some roller wheels. this advice does not apply to fat fucks obviously

Bought a $150 office chair from Walmart 5 or 6 years ago. Need to re-grease it every 6 months or so and the fake leather is peeling, but goddamn is it still the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in and I have virtually no back problems whatsoever despite actually sleeping in it quite often.

no, i got mine for around $300 on sale at an office supply store, tried out around a dozen chairs, its been great for years except most of the faux leather has peeled off by now but its still comfy almost a decade later

It's either that or potentially more expensive surgeries down the line. Your choice

Maruks.

Don't cheap out if you don't want to blow up your asshole

No. Get a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron.

Attached: download.jpg (201x251, 6.24K)

>all those 'catch your wires' armrest designs
i want to kill

LUMBAR
SUPPORT

Use cable ties retard.

Just get IKEA Markus.

for headphones?

Yes. The wire shouldn't be so long that it's getting caught in shit.

>dude just destroy your back

Why is it so hard to get an ass blaster these days?

Just get a 60 dollar amazon essentials chair. The difference from my friends gamer chair that costs at least 200 is minimal.

No, and people who try to get you to buy a Steelcase or Herman Miller new and delivered are retards, rich, or paid marketers

Buy one of the huge fancy brands from a secondhand store or office-liquidation if you absolutely must have one (it will run you ~$150-$300), or buy a Staples Hyken or Dexley for ~$200 (the Hyken is currently $210 and the Dexley is currently $180, free delivery)

You do not have to pay out the fucking ass to get a good chair, but also bear in mind that "am I really paying $1000 for a fucking chair?" is a question these people should be asking themselves and apparently aren't

Steal one from work. I did. Not even sure how the cuck 3 cubes over ever explained not having a chair.

why does one brag about being a total nigger on the internet

I use this while playing FF14

TAKE THE TRUCKERPILL
>Chairs designed for fatass truckers to sit in for 12-18+ hours a day
>Extremely durable and comfortable
>If you can stand the idea of used you can easily pull replacement chairs from refurbished cabs
>New ones are pretty expensive but will last a decade
gamer branded chairs are a fucking meme

These mesh chairs suck ass but the bright side is you can fart in them and the smell just goes straight through without sticking.

>He doesn't just sit on a cardboard box

I'm a nigger

No. Just stand up and walk around for a bit every half hour you lazy fuck. It's free and better for your body then a $2000 chair.

>remember high-school 30 years ago
>none of these ergonomic mesh shit
>no one complained about hurting back
What changed? Did everyone get pussyfied?

>high-school 30 years ago
How many of your now 50 year old friends complain about their backs now

I sit on this and I'm pretty sure I could fucking sleep on it too.

Attached: 8000.jpg (675x675, 23.6K)

You weren't sitting in a chair 24/7 30 years ago and also you were still in fucking high-school 30 years ago before your spine began deteriorating

Thanks for the idea. I'm going to turn the seat out of my grandparents 99 expedition that's sitting way back of The woods into a gaming chair.

Get a well built gaming chair. Not some $150 bs but like a $300 sh dollar one. A lot of the $400-$600 will randomly go on sale on amazon for about $250-$350.

The big and tall variants seem to be a good choice for anyone, usually just means it'll have better support and be built a little better.

I found an iskur xl for $330 last november (the black and green one was $330 and the other colors were all $600, look for random shit like that) and it's changed my life. Would I pay $600 for it? Probably not, but you get what I'm getting at.

You can get an Aeron for like $600 if you buy from a wholesaler; the $1,000 price tag is if you buy as an individual directly from HM.

The point of expensive chairs is durability. You can buy something just as comfortable for a few hundred dollars, but it will break on you in 1-2 years. Top-tier office chairs will last you a decade. That's what you're paying for.

>go to office supply webzone
>search for high weight seat
>get steel manufacturing

Why do all chairs have this shit? Why haven't they figures out a replacement for the shitty piston thing?

a few extra features too like lumbar adjustment and seat depth adjustment

check Recaro, they are the leading company of racing/aircraft seats since decades and now they are producing chairs for domestic use based just on those seats. Obviously they are very expensive, but technology, materials and everything is another league compared to traditional ones. I tried one a few months ago and have been seriously considering buying it ever since

Whatever you get, make sure it has a high back + headrest to avoid fucking your shit up.

Just buy or make a wooden stool

why not
you're going to spend hours every day sitting in this thing

Get a secret labs chair, they're like $400 and are really nice for being a gaming chair. Don't get a refurbished chair that's gross and cringe, I personally could never get over thinking about how often the previous owner's shit and came on your chair that you're still spending like a grand on. Most of these used $1000 herman millers are like 20 years old and have been through thousands of hours of swamp ass. If you can afford a brand new herman miller then do that but if not secret labs 100%

Just get an appropriate height real recliner if you're at home. Many can be modified to swivel or aready do. I love my huge ass recliner. Definitely better than all other options. As long as you have every aspect of your setup in mind a carefully chozen recliner is amazing and you will laugh at office chair cucks who can't fathom ths level of comfort and utility if you went ham on the features. Just don't fuck up on choosing things like sizes angles and features you may hate like rockers, cup holders or tazer shackles.

Imagine investing in a rig then cheaping out on seating.

>ITT gullible spergy incels who sit in chairs

>leg arteries cut off by cushion

No, steelcase chairs are like 300-400 on ebay nearly as good as new

Who uses wired things past 2008? That's just stupidity at this point.

Attached: 1330227677723.jpg (552x360, 33.63K)

enjoy your cancer

Go back

just checked the Staples Hyken and Dexley are both 40% right now, 180 for either one
pretty good deal for a normally ~$300 chair

You can't be fucking serious.

Attached: ei vittu enää ikinä.jpg (169x251, 6.95K)

Just get a Markus. It even comes with a steel plate between your ass and the piston. No surprise buttsex with Markus.

Attached: markus.jpg (350x350, 9.44K)

Aeron is the 240hz monitors of office chairs

Attached: 1615513269310.png (2000x1200, 1.37M)

You want the seat to be adjustable forward and back.
The backseat adjusted up and down. As well as have adjustable lumbar support such as a handpumped "balloon". And angle the backseat forward/backwards.
Entire seat angling forward/backwards.
This allows you do adjust the chair to your body.

Get armrests that attach to the desk. Majority of armrests on chairs are too short to support your arms when sitting properly.

Neckrests are purely there to train your posture, you're not resting your neck on it, merely a point of reference.

no

what would I put it on to make it high enough to sit at my computer with?

I have this exact chair. It's pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good

>do I really have to pay more for better quality?

Just stop being are poorfag

There's a line from being able to afford quality and being a dumbass who gets ripped off
