Not that user, but my most recent playthrough was with a zweihander and heavy armor, and holy shit, it really does trivialize most of the game. You can just stand in front of bosses, tanking hits and slapping them around, drinking whenever your health gets low without having to worry about being interrupted. I totally forgot to fight Manus, though.

ER : Godslayer's GS/Blasphemous Bade/Nagakiba first playthrough, switched to claws on my second playthrough and enjoy them a lot more.
