1+ Charisma

>1+ Charisma
>1+ Strength
Is it actually worth it, or do you just drink it before a skill check?

its been a while since ive had sober sex

I drink before speech checks in real life

yeah, the extra strength is worth it for carrying weight if you're using something like sawyer's mod assuming your build doesn't have much strength

10 extra pounds of carrying weight is always worth it, as I discovered after getting addicted to beer before reaching the Mojave Outpost.

me shoulder

>Is it actually worth it
Always, which reminds me I still have some gin left

I could have sober sex, but I choose to drink beer anyway. no reason not to, really

drink it whenever i get overcucumbered

>become "addicted"
>drop all beer inventory and never pick up anymore
do "alcoholics" really cry about this being hard?

you should have to pound 12 beers for the effects to work

>see multiple of any enemy
>do one of every drug
>win
Would probably kill someone IRL, but it works.

I only drink on special occasions and when I do it has to be pic related or else I'm not drinking shit

only good for when the buffout doesn't quite let you carry all of the valuables you want
All you really needed was the psycho and slasher in nearly all fights

do 100kg americans really

buffout stacks with beer, and also stacks with brahmin steak
MORE CARRYING WEIGHT
MORE

Fucking lard ass.

>STR is already 10 due to implants
>drinking only ups CHA which is worthless anyways

>getting implants
it's like you WANT some brotherhood fuck to fry you from 200 yards away. FLESH and BONE not METAL and CHROME okay. praise survival

How would you allocate your 40 SPECIAL points in real life?

>men in tin suits
oh i'm real scared, watch out i think i see an NCR ranger on a nearby hill

2 str
2 per
4 end
10 cha
10 int
2 agi
10 luck

Smart enough to make something useful, charismatic enough to sell it, lucky enough to beat the odds. Endurance because shit happens. 2 in the other stats so I'm not a total cripple.

39 to penis size, 1 to luck.

god i wish i had those stats

Congratulations, you're Jonah Falcon. Actually, he probably has a 2 luck because we know his name.

What does 2 str, per, and agi look like? What do stats like this entail?

+1 strength is good when you want to carry a little bit more to sell but the +1 Charisma was never enough to make any real diffrence on speech checks for me.

Bill Gates

Drop luck for endurance heath is important user

nah chemmaxing works great for melee

Can a guy with 2 agi do this?

>How would you allocate your 40 SPECIAL points in real life?
Str: 4
Per: 10
End: 7
Cha: 4
Int: 2
Agi: 1
Lck:: 8

>praise survival

based. praised. witnessed

I can't believe this is a thing

Why the fuck do you need superhuman senses?

damn, thats gotta be at least 3 AGI

I assume 1 is the minimum right? but in-game you can still walk, so I think you'd have to be at 0 to be steven hawking, and 1 to be basically functioning but probably clumsy and uncoordinated

I guess it depends. If charisma is as useless as it is in NV, 1. If it's as good as really life, like an 8 or a 9. Combo with a 9-10 int will let me trick retards like Elon does. Add onto that 9-10 luck and you can have a mid agility, strength, and shitty perception and have a godlike life

Yeah, +1 CHA is only +2 Speech. Honestly worthless. You gotta stack that shit with clothing too like you're rolling straight out of Revachol if you want to actually pass a check you couldn't.

I love the +1 strength. I made a character who always has to drink and the extra str helps with carry weight (aka more beer)

It's hard to say, because even at a 1, you're a playable character in a post apocalyptic wasteland. I think a 1 in Fallout is probably stronger than a 1 in modern society.

I feel like low end can be compensated for with money. Good exercise/eating habits, good doctors, good medicine, etc.

>can be compensated for
thats another interesting thing with stat distribution. irl, you can work out and increase your strength and endurance. in this theoretical sense, I guess you;re capped very low which is strange, and in that sense, your health benefits from in-game endurance should be capped as well, though 4 END is probably at least better than typical health among the high obesity countries

Just drop the alcohol youre carrying and you just lost 10 pounds of weight

how will I RP as an alcoholic then?

>2 in other stats so im not a total cripple
Anything below 5 makes you a cripple
if you have 10 int its at the cost of being autistic
If you have 10 cha its at the cost of being a sociopath
If you have 10 luck its at the cost of relying on luck not skill

Clothes, drugs, etc. in game can give you bonuses, like the beer given as the example that started the thread. I feel like 4 is the "base", so to speak.

booze is only half a pound though

>Anything below 5 makes you a cripple
5 is an average adventurer. A 4-3 would be a little below average, a 1-2 would probably be noticably scrawny, but you're still not using a cane/walker/wheelchair.

you say average adventurer, which I think is important. back to bill gates jumping over a chair, I'd say he's probably below average, but not everyone can jump over a chair. was my assumption of 3 AGI correct in your opinion?

Yeah, a 3 seems about right. Hard to say if/when age affects your stats, but even though he's jumping over a chair, I can't imagine him faring well in any kind of combat.

Plus no useful perks actually need charisma. The only one I would take would be the animal friend set but it requires fucking 6 charisma and no one should go that deep for something so niche

i knew you were alive chris farley

10 str
1 per
10 end
1 cha
1 int
10 agil
7 luck

Super fast, super strong, and super resilient mega retard

does this work irl? should I drink a few beers before my workouts?

Beer is actually terrible for workouts. I think it's supposed to represent inflated confidence.

so you want to be a UFC fighter irl? or maybe a bodybuilder?

as tempting as physical stats are irl, I'd definitely at minimum choose 10 CHA. 10 luck would probably be smart as well. the rest Im not sure how Id distribute if i really had to choose what I;d be stuck with for life, int is tempting, but maxing it out would definitely have some pitfalls I think

I drink on average at least 5 cans of Miller High Life or Modelo every single night, more on weekends.

> -3 Strength
> +5 Charisma
> +5 Luck

still would with that cocaine cutie

>Drinking the inferior Bell's product

>stout
cringe

You're cringe

do you wear a fedora and read sherlock holmes when you drink your stouts and porters

10 CHA would ruin your social life. You'd see everyone as programmable robots and wouldn't actually be able to relate to them internally. You wouldn't view anyone as a friend any more, just a meat sack that you can manipulate however you want.

No, I sit in my underwear and drink stouts followed by everclear mixed with cranberry juice
