Wouldn't mind, a lot of the IDW original characters are pretty cool and it definitely beats shit like fucking infinite if we're adding new characters.

IDW is not, and never will be the main canon. Comicshit will never be accepted to public.

I wouldn't be so sure, this is the first time Sega has actually had the rights to the characters and the IDW characters are the first ones that have showed up in official Sega media, even if it is in minor roles like the mobile games and cameos. You would never have seen an archie character in those positions in a million years.

The comics won't be canon but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the characters were lifted into the main canon if they were popular enough
