You didn't drive the car

You didn't drive the car.

My first car was a manual, and it only went up to 80 mph

Keep saying that as I ram into you right as you leave your house

Video games would be a lot more fun if automatic cars didn't exist. Having to manage gears whenever you wanted to drive in GTA and stuff would make for a lot of fun.

good automatic car > good manual car > bad manual car >> bad automatic car

>wanting to constantly jerk-off the car while you drive
Seems pretty gay to me.

Sounds like a chore. Changing gears is only fun for the feedback you need to pay attention, good luck replicating that in a videogame.

I recently went back to a manual from an automatic because I hate how hard it is to manage speed with AT, the car constantly just wants to go. I love how much more I can micromanage speed and engine braking in a MT car

Rent. Free.

car-based peripherals are the true soul of gaming

I thought this was the opening of a weird onahole for a second. I need to get off this site.

You call that soull? This is soul.

Did you have a Volvo AT? Those are shit. The newer BMW/Audi automatics are extremely responsive.

If your firearm doesn't function like this, you didn't learn to shoot.

They're right. If you can only drive automatic you skipped like 50% of the skill involved in driving.

>D literally stands for Drive

I have a car to get from point A to B in the most comfortable/easiest way. Driving manual just adds risk factors stress into driving - no thanks. IF you want racing thats a different matter.

Let me guess... You need more?

What does the other letters stand for? I'm an automaticlet.

Ever used your brain much ? its a good time to start

I understand that I shouldn't really prefer manual, but it's what I'm used to and it makes me feel much more engaged with the car. It's also fun to drop a gear when you gotta go fast

P - Park.
R - Race.
N - Emergency breaks.
N is confusing, I know, it's based on a German word meaning the same thing but starts with an N.

Parking
Reverse
Neutral
Drive
Some have an L that I've never figured out what it means

P = Park
N = Neutral
R = Reverse
D = Drive

I got my license with manual, but decided to go for automatic, it was mind blowing, from hating to drive to enjoying it and all was needed it to remove the need to be touching an stick all the time

Lies, only speaks the truth.

>tfw six gears and struggle to stay below 120 all the fucking time
Thankfully I know my province's radar spots almost by heart.

Okay smart fucks
What do the + and - besides the D mean

L should be for low gear. Not really common these days

Games that turn good after removing the fun?

Cars like in OP have an optional setting to simulate manual transmission by moving the stick up to shift up and moving the stick down to down shift.
What's funny is that boomers will accidentally put it into manual and scream they can only go 15 mph while their engine sounds like it's on fire.
I wouldn't surprised if it's standard in every automatic. I haven't bought a car in 3 years though.

>sequential gearbox
>no clutch
Go fuck yourself you retard. That shit is even worse than straight up auto.

>speeding
nigger alert

If you move the shifter to the left from drive you can push it up or down to select gears manually .

You are the reason idle clickers are thing.

I can drive both no problems, it's just that automatic is just more convenient.

Okay, and what does that do then? What's the point if the car's already an automatic?
Not a single person that I've ever asked has given me a conclusive answer, because they themselves don't even know

i like my prius it is fun to drive and i like it a lot!

>Okay, and what does that do then
lets you select gears manually

>tfw still no loicense
driving in my country is fucking nightmare mode

Attached: roundabout.jpg (1920x1080, 145.26K)

Buf WHY, asshole
Why does an automatic car need gears

more like

"games that turn good after removing the tedious parts of the gameplay?"

if you want to
if you don't want to you don't have to

In case you need a low gear for going uphill or something similar. I've heard a lot of modern autos can detect that nowadays though

I'm more concerned about the zig-zag lines. What are they purpose?

It limits the car to a certain top gear under reasonable circumstances to allow for better control in severe weather or high inclines.

>Why does an automatic car need gears
user....

manual is the correct way to drive, automatic is the fun way to drive.

Oh my fucking Jesus Christ WHY?
Why do this nonsense?
Just have one big fucking roundabout.

It's always funny when people make fun of American grids and driving, but on average it has the least car-related injuries and fatalities of any country per licensed driver. Americas Drivers average triple the distances of any other country as well.

That's probably the best answer I could have been given
Thanks, user

Holy shit euro road design is brain damaged.

I had an automatic car (britbong fag here so not the norm) and it was ok, but literally feels like kiddie shit. I went back to manual.
>ps, americans cant drive for shit

Bongs... I'm a eurofag and this piece of shit looks terrifying, what the fuck is that cluster fuck?? Explain yourselves!

slow down markings

This is very clever user and you should be proud of yourself

this is kinda unfair because half of americans mostly drive in big cities, where you just stop and go slowly from red light to red light, and the other half mostly drives on endless straight roads.
much less potential for fatal accidents.

Park
Reverse
Neutral
Drive
Left 1
Left 2
4x4 is four wheel drive
Just 1-5 are gears

prindle

>automatic
>fun
I bet you think watching streamers play games is more fun than playing games too, you pathtetic cuck.

It's called SOVL

THats just bongland, they also drive on the wrong side so, not that surprised

>You didn't own the car

Attached: 1641310409151.jpg (576x768, 97.04K)

I don't want an automatic because I don't trust a machine with knowing what gear I want to use

Why should the machine trust you to control its body?

I would call that a fucking hazard, but ok.
Aren't bong roads famous for getting gridlocked too often?

>automaticfags will see nothing wrong with this

there it is

>dev intended route
