The game was just a lure. A shitty demo of a 'dark souls-like game with a loli protagonist' to draw attraction, which he uses to lure coomers to his Patreon (which will make him far more money than the game ever will) while promising updates (which won't come) to keep the people who want the game to be finished satisfied.
Now he just has to ocassionally upload some artwork and he's set for life.
