People act like they had this deep connection that was abandoned but she was literally just another throwaway experiment for him. Orochimaru’s whole MO was taking in orphans and shooting them up with stuff and then tossing them aside when they weren’t a use for him. He already had Kabuto as an actual right hand man and the Sound 4 who could use their Curse Seals better than Anko so there was no reason to give a fuck about her aside from her serving as a backup to revive himself 800 chapters later. Which he also could have done with some other body stored in a closet somewhere.
Shame about making her fat. I’ll agree with that.

Now these guys (minus the girl) were actually cool as fuck. Dosu still probably has one of the most memorable designs for a minor character and his Sound arm thing was cool.

Why are most anime games so vapid?

In one of the character sheets or data books, Kishi said that Anko eats something like 6000 calories a day because she inhales dango like fucking Kirby. If that’s true, her becoming a fatty after not being active isn’t surprising.

Better pic. And they were way too damn cool, and could have been highly developed, being Orochimarus subordinates. They could have defected to the Leaf from the Sound after learning how disposable they were, at the same time Sasuke was defecting to the Sound from the Leaf. Imagine how cool that would have been so see them warn him of what Sasuke was getting into, allying with Orochimaru and Sasuke in that phase smugly bragging about how much better he is than them, anyway.

The one guy broke his arms and Lee lost his leg. Both could have recovered and fought Kimimaro. Granted, the sound siblings rescue was kino of its own, but dammit, the opportunity was there.

Reminder that Orochimaru got away with fucking everything and even has a family now.

Letting Orochimaru pretty much run free is dumb.
Giving Kabuto custody over an orphanage full of clones with Sharingan is terminal retardation. Not just clones with Sharingan, but clones with Sharingan whose bodies were specifically made to be organ donors, especially their eyes.
Granted Kabuto was basically mindraped into becoming a good guy, but all it would take it for him to wakeup one morning and decide to be evil again and he could start another World War within hours since he still has all of his abilities and Sage Mode. And this time he would have a Sharingan army and possible Sharingan himself.

Both the Boruto manga and anime started off extremely slow and took ages to actually build any momentum because they both rehashed the movie's plot. I don't blame people for having dropped it early on and not picked it up again. Even the anime is still hit or miss when it comes to the arcs.

I don't know about the amount of good Naruto games, and DBZ has more games in total, but the amount of bad DBZ games far outnumber the amount of good ones.
People only speak fondly about Tenkaichi, Budokai, and maybe the Legacy of Goku games, and even then a lot of the fondness for those mainly seems to come from nostalgia.

Also it was a contrast because Kakashi was the peak of power at the time
