I'll get a drawing tablet this weekend, should I get a XP Pen Deco 01 or a Wacom Intuos Small? They cost the same, but everyone keeps telling me Wacom is better and will last me far longer plus good drivers but XP-Pen is bigger so I can use my arm and shoulder more and comes with a lot of nibs and a drawing glove.

I've only used wacom, including samsung Note phones which use wacom tech so I'm super biased and know nothing about using other brands. Haven't had much issues other than design flaws with older models that they fixed with newer ones, and sometimes the driver shitting itself while I'm drawing. I've only ever used larger tablets but I can see a really big problem with ones that small - it's that when you map the whole screen to the tablet area to actually be able to use programs (menus etc. on sides) you'll be drawing on not even like half of the tablet so you'll be drawing on a literal post stamp.
Also the other brands have improved considerably in last fifteen years. Besides those are at such a ridiculously low price point if you're not from argentine or something that if you are really disappointed you won't lose much value wise if you upgrade in a year or two when you have some perspective.

I've tried that Intous before, it's too small in my opinion, like you said the larger one lets you use more of your arm and shoulder for those bigger more accurate strokes. I've got a shitty chink 10x6 (work area) Huion and while it feels like a cheap flimsy piece of crap I still preferred it over the Intous. That 6x4 area is just too awkward and cramped for me.
