Bought it in 2012. What's your excuse for not getting one?

I own 6

>worthless

Never cared about the library. I like Little Big Planet though.

half of these are either false or irrelevant

Bought it as a Persona machine. Then proceeded to not play Persona on it.

You forgot
>no exclusives games

>getting the OLED
shiggy

>Not having the OLED
Im sorry that you bought the wrong one

I have one. The rear touch pad was a terrible idea.

>front and rear cameras
that nobody used and I only know some DSi/3DS games that used the cameras for games
not counting AR shit
>rear touch pad
which doesn't work half the time and is shit
>PS2.5
it can't even run PS2 ports well, all of them are riddled with issues
>amazing library
it's SHIT
>easy to jailbreak
very easy in fact
>best portable emulator
that's actually true, long battery life, only one screen, emulates PS1 and everything up to GBA/SNES

I might grab an OLED but... iunno, it comes with a lot of issues that the Slim doesn't have like a faulty charging port.. which uses a proprietary cable instead of just micro usb

I own oled, slim and tv.
I might pick second oled possibly 3g one to get 3g to sd

Never had any problems with the charging port so far, however.. there was an issue with the batterie and it would allways jump from 100% to low, to 100%, to low.
(was easily fixable though)

dk which is which but the one on the bottom has more soul

How do I play MGS1 on Vita? It's not a PSX game

Attached: eh.gif (353x300, 1.24M)

You sure about that?

The Vita can't run PS1 games as far as I know

I own one.
Yeah it's not OLED, but it's still good.

Attached: collection.jpg (2880x2160, 1.61M)

yes it can

Attached: mgspsx.jpg (1280x720, 71.37K)

You can un them as eboots on adrenaline

If you think the bottom has more "soul" you have no brain

it finally happened. piss filter is now seen as a good thing.

an inferior screen that makes it look like the game has a piss filter is soul?

I just want the TV one...

Or just install it natively.

this makes 2000 looks quite good

Vita Slim is sexy as hell

if youve never had sex/are a woman you won't understand

no games

>What's your excuse for not getting one?
no video capture

You'd have to be fucking mental to get a non-OLED vita

Because it has no games

>>rear touch pad
>which doesn't work half the time and is shit
it's main use was in the coomer genkai tokki games where you simulate masturbating the device from both sides the front screen and back

>he doesn't know

>can't play a pirated copy of delta online because of the online pass shit
fucking snoy

I always thought this game looks cool, does it have adhoc multiplayer?

too busy getting laid bro

the OLED is useless outdoors

>github.com/Electric1447/lcd-color-saturation
this fucks up the color on the vita 2000. the 2000's color looks fine.

people always say the extra analog stick is a good thing compared to the psp, but actually the stick gets in the way much more than it helps. you have to hold it from an awkward angle whenever you use the buttons.

I bought one and sold it because a fucking 64GB memory card went for 150 bucks. Also the community was cancerous as fuck when henkaku just started
>Hurr durr you updated to 3.63 now it's a worthless piece of garbage
>We aren't going to support more versions outside of 3.60
>Lmao imagine paying for games
>Nooooooooo you cannot discuss vidya piracy!! Henkaku is only for homebrew we will ban you and also update henkaku so piracy doesn't work anymore!!!
Loved my vita, fuck you retards from the scene

Sounds like sour grapes, my friend.

Just bought a gaming laptop, every vita game is also on steam

sounds like /hbg/ should've went to leddit

Its /redditgen/, nobody outside of /vitagen/ cares about piracy. People even created pkgj which lets you get everything for free directly on the vita.

/vitagen/ are the corporate drone people that unironically think that piracy damages sales when in reality early piracy could have actually spread awareness of the vitagames and saved it

You sold your vita out of spite? Sounds like a retarded thing to do.

Lmao imagine paying for games

Sold it mainly due to the memory cards being so expensive, the community pissed me off a lot also, but at that point I was able to pirate just fine, but the games just stopped coming. The Vita is awesome, the perfect PSP, but it was just too bothersome to use, most games got ported to pc anyways so I just moved on to a laptop

the 3ds was simply better.

The crazy thing is Nintendo was in full panic mode with 3DS knowing full well that it wasn't.
Yet Sony dropped the ball hard.

My OLED model suffers a pretty good amount of burn-in.
I'd like to get a 2000 model one of these days, but dread the idea of setting up another SD2VITA, plus everything else that goes with it.
My big gripes with the Vita are the rearpad, the lack of reasonably priced L2R2/L3R3 accessories, the performance of some of the PS2 ports, lack of a native version of Peace Walker, online pass integration in many of the games (looking at you, Soul Sacrifice Delta), and a proper Monster Hunter game.
Freedom Unite and Portable 3rd are right there, but the camera is super finicky, even after mapping it to the right stick. The slightest of unintentional nudges will change your vertical angle.
Hopefully, one day, I will be able to play Frontier's private servers on a Vita.

I just map the right stick to the left and right dpad buttons. I leave up and down on the stick unmapped.

Have 2 of these.
An original OLED one and a brand new one in case the old one breaks down.
No pay station is also amazing.

>My OLED model suffers a pretty good amount of burn-in.
I need to see proof for actually believing that.
OLED burn-in needs like 3000 hours of having the exact same image nonmoving on your screen

It's not image burn-in exactly, but there are darker splotches on the screen that are noticeable whenever the screen dims or goes dark, or there is a scene with a more muted colour palette.
Pic related.

I have those on my 1000 too

>he actually interacted with the community instead of leeching

Attached: 1604170339231.gif (339x509, 640.91K)

also it starts to get brown in the bottom when the charger port is, it can't be charged for more than 2 hours apparently. OLED is full of faulty shit just for a "better" screen

i have a 2000 model i bought CHEAP on gumtree.
it's Wii U tier if you don't hack it but its honestly such a good piece of hardware. incredible for portable PS1 games.

would get that over the 1000 because your screen isn't gradually dying and you can charge it without a proprietary sony-ericsson throwback charger.
