The reason everything sucks in the modern world is because no one can think for themselves anymore. They just repeat whatever shit they read on Facebook/Twitter/Reddit/Yea Forums. Now the world is nothing but the same repeated shitty media products and manufactured opinions and the world has become as tiny as the screen in front of your face.
And the worst part is that unlike Women's rights, which are unnatural and can be undone in a heartbeat, mass media is the proverbial cat out of the bag. It's never going back in. People have gotten so invested in mass media that even if the infrastructure was destroyed tomorrow, it would be rebuilt no matter the cost. Humanity is no longer able to adapt or create new ideas and it WILL be our extinction as a species.
