But that's a good thing. Every location plays differently and introduces different enemies and gameplay. At the beginning you're overwhelmed and hiding and running to survive, then you get to kill a shitton of enemies and bosses, then you're basically stripped of everything and playing a horror puzzle game but only one section overstays it's welcome and overall it's a great experience.

I have been shilling RE7 here since 2017, it was a great atmospheric action game with a clear influence of survival horror mechanics and item management while still improving on the action aspects like shooting, boss battles and combat
Village isn't a good suvival horror game nor a good shooter
RE7 has top tier horde mod, randomized mode, puzzles, and DLC campaigns
RE8 has mercenaries and fucking sucks
