Norisuke originally didn't want Josuke to find out about his idenitty, so maybe that was part of the original, scrapped plot of Jojolion so it was very possible we could've had Jobin vs Josuke or Jobin helping out Josuke.

Battle Tendency works so well because it’s a very succinct story about one of Araki’s best protags and his colorful supporting cast fighting insane, wacky battles with imposing memeable villains. It’s everything by JoJo should be without dragging itself out or needing to drop plotlines.

I've been toying with ASB in RPCS3 for a bit and yeah, most of his attacks are based on Fun Fun Fun and even Shakedown Road, yet Araki more or less dropped the 'steal abstraction' property of Soft & Wet early on. The R trailer also shows him still doing his 'steal your vision' attack.
What I did notice in the original game is that his ultimate attack 'Soft & Wet' has him throw a bubble from his birthmark to initiate it. I think that one would be pretty easy to sub for Go Beyond at the least.
