I have a tough time going back to 2016 after Eternal. I found myself mostly enjoying it as like a cool atmosphere piece, 2016 has pretty solid atmosphere and the story is surprisingly enjoyable because of how it is delivered. The first 5 minutes of D44M is just perfection
Eternal of course blew it on the story front, and traded atmosphere for cool looking levels, it's so much more fun to play, it is the best FPS released in easily 15 years.

I like 4/2016's atmosphere so much more than Eternal for some reason. It felt a lot more grounded, and thus felt more of an adventure getting further into the base itself.
