Plus, community aside, they had interesting content not always connected to the 'key staff', like EpicBattleAxe podcast.
All these groups are doing 'shows' as if any of these people are interesting or have any charisma and can carry the 'content' with games as a side dish.

agreed. most of my fond memories of GT are of shows like pach attack, annoyed gamer, geoff keighlys E3 coverage and his bonus round podcast. the production values were insane, just look at this shit youtu.be

I loved them during the GT days, and I enjoyed EZA at the start, I think I followed their podcast for about a year before I dropped off, I'd still check in every now and then but less and less often. But I feel like I already kind of said goodbye to them when GT died, EZA has always felt like a different thing
