Nah I love fighting tree spirits and tree avatars (both the putrid/rotten variety and their normal counterparts). It is very fun and satisfying and I literally could not stop creaming my pants everytime I found one of those.

first souls game where i dont even feel like finishing it, previous ones ds1, ds2, ds3 i always enjoyed the ambient and bossfights, started getting burned out a bit by ds3 and in this one i haven't even opened the game in weeks, its just the same old shit but worse

Most enjoyable boss fights I've experienced in a ridiculously long time, so many DLC tier fights imo. Some of the best music and ambience too. Leyndell Ambience, Elden Beast Theme and Wendigoon Theme are on the same tier as Ludwig for me.

not really. There's some things that I didn't like, predictably linked to it being open world, but my overall experience was definitely positive and aligned with my expectations. I liked the streamlined Sekiro more though

literally me. all my friends were playing it, so I figured i'd try it. still beat it, but it was mediocre. if this is the kind of gameplay I've been missing out in dark souls series, I'm glad I skipped the genre as a whole. it's not that impressive.

Nope, having a good bit of fun with it. The art direction is great, combat is about what I expected, exploration is fine, quests are fine. I went into the gaming know it would just he dark souls but more open.

Any game where I have to roll around on the ground to not get 1 shotted means lazy mechanics, poor scaling and gameplay that doesn't reward ingenuity. I'm floored by how much critical acclaim the game has gotten based on all the gameplay I have watched. I'm convinced the only reason why people love the game is because of how cool it looks and the baddie designs.

No, positively surprised. Although certain elements are really shit imo for example most of the music and pretty much every non legacy dungeon. Also many boss fights feel very unsatisfying and spastic

The RL1 run is going surprisingly smoothly. Granted, I only just hit the capital so I haven't had to deal with the bullshit endgame bosses, but it's surprisingly fun so far. Things one or 2shot you, especially with Rad's soreseal, but things one or 2shot you most of the game anyway.

Well I played every other souls game and I was incredibly hyped but this one came out to be literally the worst in the genre. It has the unnccessary non-darksouls elements that are trash but also the core dark souls elements are worse than any other dark souls game.

majorly disappointed it's a 7/10 at best. For the music, vibe, world building, exploring the world, but all the actual gameplay elements are fucking shit.

Ambient or boss tracks? In my opinion ER & Sekiro have the best music of From games so far (excluding Kota Hoshino's work), and a handful of ER tunes are the only ones that've stuck in my head since DaS1 and Majula.

I have limited experience but Nioh 2 runs at a pretty stable 50fps on a base ps4 despite having particle effects out the ass, so I'd say it's mostly a From's skill issue

Its really forgettable and I'm an Elden Ring apologist. If your "good" tracks are the ones you remember instead of liking, its a problem. Being able to recall the music is not an achievement in score. There are some good elements but you have to pick them out and explain why you like them, older soundtracks by from were all 10/10 front to back.

Ambient. the combat music in free roam in many areas and specifically liurna of the lakes I thought was really bad and annoying. Theres some great boss tracks

A little? For as much as people hyped it up as "Fromsoft's masterpiece made from all the lessons they've learned from their previous games" it sure made the exact mistakes all their previous games did. Still fun at least, even if it has my least favorite bosses out of any of these games.

we tried to play elden shit with a friend together as 3 man co-op. It was my first co-op experience in souls series despite playing through every souls game. The amount of twinks fucking our shit up made us play on our main characters and just double moonveil any faggot that even came closer to us and then we gave up on playing. It´s ok. Solid 7/10. The Quest design is horrible and just doesn`t work in an Open world setting. Combat being the only activity does get boring after a while, wish there was something to break up the monotony, although i do like the change to the bloodborne combat moveset of the weapons.
In general, the game suffers from the fact that Fromsoft made Dark Souls 4 but stretched it out to an Open World. These two things just don`t mix well. Also, the side dungeons are boring as hell, and none offer unique bosses.

It has everything I could want. I just ran the game three times with self-imposed challenges so that made it seem a little less fun, but you can pretty much do anything you want in this game.

That`s what i`m thinking too. For all their strong points, FROM just can`t optimize their games for shit. Even Bloodborne, which they developed for a single system, runs like shit.
Compare that to R* and RDR2, movie game or not, they manged to have that game run on PS4 on better consistency than Bloodborne
