Omega as a proper tournament.
In the background of each phase is 2 other bosses from the raid series fighting each other. Sometimes their attacks might spill over into your arena. When you finish a phase the winner of the fight in the background jumps to you and starts with some health missing.
Maybe it's possible to affect who wins the other fights giving you different paths through the raid.
Kefka, Exdeath and Chaos just one shot their opponents and stare at you the whole time until it's their turn. Except for Kefka who just throws out the occasional bonus mechanic to fuck with you.
Keep going through until you "win" the tournament with your prize being an Omega fight. Final phases is similar to how Omega tries to understand you by becoming Omega M/F but this time he acknowledges you are a party of 8 and splits into 8 forms. Each based off of final bosses from older Final Fantasy Games. (So you get stuff like Omega K(efka) or Omega C(haos)

This is a complete unrealistic pipedream but I'd love an Ultimate where you fight all of the great dragons from the story until you get to fight Midgardsormr himself.

user if the game lasts a few more expansions they're practically confirmed for an Ultimate. We already have two Midgardsormr fights to pull from, Bahamut, Hraesvelgr, and Nidhogg all have moveset, we've seen Tiamat and Vritra in action, and Azdaja is coming soon. The only member of the Brood we don't know much about is Ratatoskr.

Ultimate: Alpha and Omega's adventures

you watch them have fun adventures and gather more friends but horribly powerful monsters are just around the corner and you have to protect them and prevent yourself from being discovered.

the last new friend is Meteion, and the finale is fighting off a magitek horror while Meteion and Alpha torment Nero with questions about what he's doing and if they can help

Once they are completely done with them as antagonists I'd like Garlemald Ultimate.
You fight every single legions commander and every notable Garlean fight is a part of each commanders phase. I dunno what final phase would be maybe Varis until he gets to 50% when Zenos runs in, kills him and it transitions to a Zenos fight.
Only problem is since we never physically saw and fought every single commander the non raiding crowd would probably be furious that the Ultimate version is the only one.

But Stormblood was good. ShB was when it went to shit.

Well now that fanfic fights are officially on the table with DSR having its own little story, I want them to get imaginative.
