They're still plagued with negative reviews from day 1 buyers that couldn't get into the game because the servers were having problems. Servers are long since fixed, yet the negative review still persists.

Also every single game I've ever looked at has numerous reviews that are useless joke/gag reviews either positive or negative. Just a bunchof bullshit no one actually gives a fuck about and hsouldn't be there in the first pace.

And don't get me started on the bullshit that absolutely plagues the review system like

If they've already been paid for their presence on the platform- which IS how Epic's contracts work- and my presence won't contribute to them financially in any way, why bother with a client at all when acquiring the game via a direct download or torrent (and thereby having the best client possible, "none whatsoever") makes no difference to anyone except Epic's user data and infrastructure costs?

The EGS is an okay platform, and I've already preordered VTM Swansong, and I bought the Crysis remasters and stuff. But it's inexcusable that they hadn't implemented a proper "discover existing files" installation option. It's frankly batshit that their priorities are obviously so skewed by living in a tech hub with no internet quotes or something.

You CAN do it manually but it's a multistage process where you have to start the download, halt it, edit some files, move some files around, and then restart the launcher.
