Unironically call of duty

But I enjoy Day z for realism

ready or not feels good.

Bloodborne

unironically tarkov

What's that cylindrical metal that goes in and out above the bullet hole for?

Ready or Not
Rising Storm 2

Ask your mom, bro

came here to say this
youtu.be/-uBsiLd-09k

It's the piston that pushes the bolt back

>Basic M4 has insane recoil
>Slap a front grip and pistol grip to it and it has no recoil
Tarkov has some good qualities in the weapons but the stat system is just cancer and needs to be removed

Destiny

7,62 High Calibre

I always found the guns in Insurgency and Red Orchestra 2 really enjoyable to use, especially the original Insurgency mod. Most games either have guns feeling weightless or end up massively exaggerating their recoil to make them "feel" powerful.

the first standalone insurgency was really good, I played it exclusively on steam controller it was so tight.
They didn't quite get the feeling right in Sandstorm and the maps in Sandstorm are just pure aids

Why are Americans obsessed with guns?

Guns are cool and fun.
t. not an American

Because they still live in the wild west. Only difference is they shoot each other instead of injuns.

Guns are cool. I wish I were American.

I'm actually a no guns bong, I just find them fascinating on a mechanical level

Arma 3
youtu.be/fmBqpwhP7qg

its a rod that pushes the bolt back to extract the spent casing from the chamber

Attached: wheellock pistol.webm (1280x720, 1.86M)

Is that a Jordan Peterson Device?

No, that's wrong

Insurgency 1/2
Killing Floor 2
Sniper Elite 2,3,4,5

I wish I could slap some better taste into you

After playing VR, everything else feels inadequate.

do they make weapons like these or are those just relics that aren't manufactured anymore?

>the only game in existence that controls recoil for you
and that excluding the fact thats the recoil is unrealistically high

they love LARPing, funny since most of them didn't even recieve basic millitary training like Finland, S.Korea, or Germany back in the Cold War.

user-kun...

shooting in VR is really lackluster always and I dislike shooting games in VR

i don't know much about guns so i'm curious about this

Pedersen Yes

They make reproduction versions of all the biggest rifles, but the probably hundreds of thousands "relics" work just well.
And there are modern bolt actions obviously.

Do you mean bolt action rifles? Because yes. Pedersen devices? Probably not.

Anything Tripwire.

>Pedersen devices?
obviously this, i know damn well bolt action rifles are still a thing

The amount of time and money to make them would not be worth how small the market for them is, so no. Setting up all the machinery, making a run of them and not being able to do anything else with that machinery would be a huge sunk cost.

thats a shame, it looks prety neat

the game is genuinely and objectively not a good game

Insurgency (not Sandstorm)

Like 70,000 of them were made but I'd imagine most of them have been scrapped in the last 100 years. They're not impossible to find but I doubt they're cheap.

for me it's modded FNV

these two games made me love guns more

Red Orchestra 1

t. never shot a gun before
Tarkovs gunplay is abhorrent, they keep talking about recoil changes but nothing seems to happen.

it's pretty easy to get guns in bong

Agreed. Until you shoot someone. Then you wonder why some slav has mark iv spartan armor that can soak up 10 rounds of 7.62 from 20 m away.
Then it has some of the worst feeling guns, unless you mean nerf guns.

I never liked how the guns are sighted in RO1. It's a weird movement.

>Hunt: Showdown has awesome guns
>Awesome setting
>Amazing atmosphere and aesthetics
>It's a multiplayer Battle Royale instead of literally anything else
>All the players who still play it are unholy demigods of hatred and fire, having foregone pleasures and senses of the weak flesh to ascend to levels of skill previously thought impossible to mankind
pain

Do you mean the way the guns just scroll up and down when you range them or do you mean the actual sights?

Attached: 1636067345145.webm (1152x720, 2.87M)

Maybe not the best but I always think of this immediately, especially the pistols.
Except shotguns, they're awful in this.

Attached: vegas2.png (1920x1080, 2.54M)

ready or not feels best at the being shot at part, the shock, the sound, the sudden violence, is harrowing at first unlike any other video game

RS2, great feel, realism, sound

Insurgency sandstorm, really smooth weapon animations and the sound fx are great

games with the worst feeling guns?

The way the player character brings the sights into focus has a weird clunky animation. It's really jarring to me, and isn't how you aim down the sights of a gun at all.

E.Y.E

Popular ones? Half Life 2 always felt terrible to me. Battlefield 2 also feels abysmal.

based

>already has quick RoF for the first firemode
>has a second firemod which is eject-contents-of-magazine-out-barrel-right-now mode

Gas piston

pretty much all of them

half life 2 has great gun feeling. except the pistol, god the pistol sucks. spas and its made up doublefire is also great

this really does something for me for some reason

Attached: Escape From Tarkov FAL2.webm (852x480, 2.86M)

They all feel bad to me because the enemies don't really react to getting shot and the sounds are lacking in base and make "paff" noises.

>I just find them fascinating on a mechanical level
Same.

HL2, 343 games, borderlands games, vanilla arma

Not one response saying Modern Warfare 2019? Dogshit nigger lovers.

Which VR controller has force feedback for recoil etc.?

rifles with wooden bump-stocks? yes. you can even get semi-auto ones where you don't need that megadrive-32x-CD-looking mod.

they sound and look like they are made of plastic

Attached: 1623231206044.png (1000x1200, 456.61K)

Gonna be honest, I don't like MW 2019's aesthetic. The tacticool reloads and thumb over bore annoy me for some reason.

Is it worth getting this game for the singleplayer mod?

guys what's the best CQB game, ZH, GB or RoN

Attached: 1651488800443.gif (432x498, 2.95M)

I really like half life 2 (I replay it using smod once every two years) but many of its gun feel like shit, the pistol especially.
There are exemptions such as the magnum, gravity gun and crossbow.

Enemies stopped flinching after an update in 2010, I'm pretty sure they mostly fixed it a few months back.

speak english i don't know what those games are
