The story was shit and they were too retarded to see that the ONLY INTERESTING thing they could of done is reveal Abby was immune and ger doctor dad already knew about it. Meaning he was willing to kill other little people to do "whsts right" but not his own daughter which puts him on equal ground with Joel thereby making Abbys revenge hypocritical.

I don't like having my progression reset half way through the game, which is what it did.

The last Ellie levels jsut felt like the first game where you're with the black brothers. Was like a mid game level.

The tone is also all fucked, like its small open very bright town that has an entire gang occupying it but still has house with END GAME INFECTED HIDDEN INSIDE

you break through their final compound and free the randoms there and expect to something to happen with them only for the game to suddenly end

I can't agree with the "yeah ok you don't like the story, but the gameplay is good". There's no training mode or multiplayer, the gameplay is constantly held back by the story. No amount of good will to ignore it will delete all of the walk and talk bullshit. To dislike the story is to dislike a good half of the "gameplay" as well.

I think the real take away from TLOU2 is that positive PR DOES matter. Druckmeme went out of his way to antagonize critics and jerk off his ego. I bet he really believed in the "there is no such things as bad PR" meme.

When I played the first (like a month before I got the second for £20), I instantly replayed it on the hardest difficulty that night and to find what I missed
When I beat the second, I got around to restarting a week later and made it out of Jackson before never turning it back on. Game is just ruined by its own pacing.
