sunless sea is unironically a million times better if you use cheat engine to double the game speed

I had a terrible nightmare where I was trapped at the bottom of a giant cube filled with water and a fucking monster like that was waiting for me on the other side. Just no, fuck ocean games, fuck every single videogame featuring a big creature on the sea. Fuck The Witcher 3 for having big ass whales and a botomless ocean. Fuck Outer Wilds. No, I will never play Subnautica. Fuck that Sims mod and fuck you OP.

ARK: Survival evolved ocean is pretty cool and spooky, just solely from having shit like plesiosaurs roaming around. Rest of the game is debatable honestly, depending on how you play your survival crafting games. my screenshots are old and they kept updating the game so god knows what it's like after 2016

I love this game because I enjoy the concept of a Metroidvania but don't care for platforming so this was ideal for me

Why nothing other than a sea prison of course, complete with human testing on prisoners and harvesting of their organs. No I am not making that up. You can build a prisoner organ harvesting facility in this game that was sold in a school fair for 4th graders.

>no Cyclops, get a cramped mobile base instead
>less undersea biomes
>most of the mystery of the main game (the ancient aliens, the lady who went out trying to kill a Reaper Leviathan, etc.) is explained outright
>way more fetch quests
>exploring on the surface doesn't actually add much to the exploration gameplay

More tedium, map is a lot smaller, no cyclops, no seaglide, the seatruck is a slow fat fragile sack of shit, a lot more focus on "muh story", character and her precursor headmate won't shut the fuck up, your AI has a thick accent for reasons lots of surface shit that doesn't really fucking matter outside of story stuff
