Anyone else notice that all the stereotypical obnoxious YouTube lorefags are getting completely mogged by smaller creators this time around? I just listened to a two hour lore podcast with two guys that went well above and beyond anything something like Vaati has ever put out. Wish I could remember the names to shout them out. And in general I’m getting these small creators popping up in my reccomend who are doing some pretty fantastic analysis on the game.
I wonder if the game was just just so hyped and popular that some more intellegent people have picked it up

for me, it's "Being summoned in another world as a cooperator..." only to have the game freeze for some fucking reason.

new patch sucks dick on my potato rig, goddamn. thought it was just a hardware thing till i pirated a 1.02 version of the game, and shit runs smooth as i remember it. feel like it'd be a waste of time filing a ticket, but i'd rather Bamco know about it regardless. been cooped up at the Haligtree ever since.

Vati is still getting monster numbers on his videos but he doesn’t put out content fast enough to tackle to breadth of lore ER has. It makes sense that other creators s are rising up.

Made it to the Lakes and i'm kind of getting bored. Should I just rush down bosses? Is there a way to un-upgrade weapons and use the stones on a different weapon?

How do I make magic good? I’m just chucking rocks at bosses and it feels bad to use anything else.

Inspiration is good and no one wants one source of entertainment. I’m glad souls are getting more content creators to choose from. I’m sick of G9 crying every video upload. It’s a damn shame cause it’s so enjoyable watching him DESTROY every build he faces. Iv had to switch to other small channels who aren’t as skilled but much more fun

Nah but the game is MUCH more lenient with upgrade stones than previous entries. Bloodborne literally gave you 1 +10 originally, 2 with DLC.by the end of this game I had 6-7 max upgrade stones, both regular and somber so if you feel like branching out weapon wise just do it. The earlier still the better but you’re not punished as hard in this game for doing it

i wish they had more loading screen art by the time you finish the game youve seen every single one 9000 times it was pretty cool when you made it to the location of one of the loading screens though

you fight at least two more under normal conditions you're not cheating yourself out of anything

For me it's invading only to immediately get "host is in a boss fight, returning to world" before I've even taken a single step.

small time autismos can handcraft explanations of the lore that are well rounded and easily defensible

big timers like Vaati risk losing their literal job if they aren't fast enough to the punch, but also have to avoid stepping on eachother's toes or creating duplicate content since that threatens eachother's jobs and risks creating professional drama

there have always been intelligent analysts, there's just never been more money on the table for them to all grab at. Even Vaati lifted most of his analysis of games like Bloodborne from far more insightful but also deranged analysts

Lightning. Also, the insides are vulnerable. Bait a grab, roll out of the way, and getting a rolling or jumping attack in for 1k damage. Rinse and repeat.

They stagger to magic in like 3 hits. A single cast of Night Maiden's Mist will stagger them _twice_. Find some source of magic damage and you're good.

Lightning does most damage, magic does decent and can be spammed.
They're immune to fire.

They also take x3 damage if you hit the mouth when it opens.
I just bait the grab, then they have a very long recovery animation where you can do 2-3 his on the mouth.
