You guys aren't as creative or fun as I remember

You just come off as an insufferable faggot with all your rules so why bother?

Arena shooter with anime girls. There's a "battle royale" mode to lure in zoomers but in reality it's just 3 deathmatches back to back (with winners moving to the next round).

HMOFA dating sim with ten feet tall girls.

>LARP WITH ME FAGGOTS PLEASE

Because last time I made a thread wanting to hear about game ideas everyone just said "final fantasy but porn" or something like that. If people can't think of a game idea without using an existing IP then they're not creative enough to come up with anything interesting anyway

>Nooo you HAVE to get back to consolewarring

Bethesda style RPG with a setting like Alien Isolation. Simple as.
Retrofuturistic aestethics, silent protagonist with dialog choices with consequences, character creator, rich romance options.

I can be very creative if I get paid for it.

some sort of procedural endless mega structure exploration / adventure action game

not really sure what the goal would be but I imagine you wander and explore, deal with enemies, collect shit, find paths, maybe some interesting difficulty scaling where going up leads to harder areas but better reward and going down is easier areas but worse reward? stumble across settlements, do missions for people (or things) in the area, move on never to return. idk kind of hard to envision it but I think it'd be a neat setting to build a game around and explore

What the point?

Id make Spore but actually good

Lane phase from assfaggots but its PvE, difficulty increases as time goes on. need to farm gold to get gear to keep up.
at the end of each level theres a boss with mechanics, like having to pick up a buff from a certain camp.
each level has a different gimmick: one level could have one lane to focus on, another could have 3 lanes, to balance it out buying defence towers is cheaper on those levels.

this is what im aiming to develop for myself as an educational project so i can tackle something more creative and ambitious

i make some shitty unity asset flip about some political bullshit that doesn't matter. pc faggots will buy it because they have shit taste and love le hilarious ironic shitpost games. i take my now 200 million dollars and start hiring hitmen to kill off all the faggots who have ruined all the game franchises i used to love. once i've run out of funding, i kill myself immediately.

i'd love to play a diablo-esque game but persistent open world, mmo optional

basically dark fantasy foxhole, but without the stupid hexes

I want to make a mahou shoujo click and point adventure game. The reason it would be a point and click game is because it would allow a more in-depth story and I wouldn't want to make it a basic action game where you punch da bad guyz. I could easily come up with a story desu, but thinking about the gameplay for a mahou shoujo game gives me a headache.

Runner game like sonic (3d) or mirrors edge. You run through Xibalba, the mayan underworld, navigating spooky grand scale terrain and temples to get back your dead friends. However, you also have two elemental gauntlets you can use to augment your moveset: fire is a boost, wind makes you lighter and floatier, but combine them and you can rocket jump with explosive blasts. Surf on a board made of stone, skate on flashfrozen water, swing with vines and combine them all into other new movement styles like wall running, flight and various boosts.
Balancing them would be rough, so the levels are full of alternate paths intended for players to use their favorite combos for and add replay value.
No enemies except for a few bullet hell type bosses where you navigate through their patterns at high speed.
Every time you die, it cuts a year off your lifespan, influencing the ending you get: only a dozen or so and you get to happily live out the rest of your lives on the surface; 100 or more and you die instantly from old age, remaining stuck in Xibalba forever. You have to git gud.
The player character must be cute.

Game called Dragon's Bogma and it's definitely a new IP

What a coincidence, my game is called Dragon's Ligma.

Double-sided MMO where people either live as humans EDF-style with much more depth and customization, or as various creatures from hell. Minor raids are about groups and factions attacking each others, major raids are between earth vs hell as a whole.
Gameplay on earth side requires crafting and gathering to build large structures all the way to having mechas (mechwarrior style). Some of the shit to collect might require strategic raids into hell to power advanced research.
Gameplay on hell side requires downing souls on the earth side to mutate and become more powerful or potentially combine into a larger monster (with various types to account for groups of 2-3-4+ friends sync'd up). Can down other hellish factions, at the cost of all of hell being less powerful overall when facing earth.

Rated R otherwise the hell side is going to be too fucking boring. Very lax moderation and filtering because everybody knows

noire fps game. Fighting mobsters and cops. It can have Multiplayer if you want.

>Cold War era central Europe
>10-25 years post nuclear+virus apocalypse
>High lethality, Sandbox, Looter shooter
>Factions with faction approval rating.
>Radiation hot spots and highly contagious (mutated) disease that makes people stronger but also kills them very painfully
>Gameplay loop is going between small outposts selling shit you got on your adventures to buy more food/water/bullets/medicine
>Player can get infected with the virus™ and must regularly take medicine to keep themselves alive for another couple days, the longer they go without the bigger the buff and debuff gets until they die
>Player can infect NPCs if they're sick/not using medicine who will then die after a couple days unless they're rich or have medicine, in which case they'll last a little longer
>Player can befriend (randomly generated) NPCs and invite them along on their adventures. Followers will have perma death and not special buffs, they die like everyone else.
>Player can pick up small, procedure generated quests in towns and can follow several handmade quest lines working for a particular person/faction which over the course of the game become mutually exclusive

Be sure you guys have your ideas written down in google doc or something somewhere. Not only do you remember the details but you also copyright it at the same time.

so a better chernobylite?

WHAT THE-

tag team fighting game were the entire meta is basically a rock paper scissors matchup and you'd get debuffs or buffs depending on your chosen fighters and the opponents fighters.
the only fighting game I play and care about is UMvC3 so I wouldn't be surprised if something like this already exists

Call of Cthulhu investigator game. You have to solve the mystery.
Everything is procedurally generated fresh each new game, the entire town, every NPC, their daily schedules, their motivations and activities and therefore the main storyline is different each playthrough.

MGSV but horror. Setting is in a cursed large foggy town.

>therefore the main storyline is different each playthrough.
You can't make an interesting procedurally generated story.

>not xenomorph have infested giant space city
>not spacemarines are sent to fight them with out causing a commontion
>not spacemarienes fail at being quiet about it
>not xenos overrun space city
>last stand at a themepark
>not xeno queen is actually somehow your wife
>dadaduumm
also, there's a coop mode and a xeno vs marienes mode

I've never played that. I don't know what that is. I was thinking more along the lines of the Fallout VB design doc leaks but with a Tarkov-esque vibe to the combat

Mount and blade combat but with Kenshi exploration/world and unreal world survival/crafting/trading mechanics.
>can't use existing IP
fuck

Any old Deus Ex clone. Dense hubs and everything. Comical amounts of cheesecake and multiple wuv interests. Truly, a perfect game.

setting is post apocalypse WWII
different factions
no story, just sandbox with systems to make your own fun

tldr; kenshi in WWII

Shin Megami Tensei grand strategy game, where you create a faction and rule the world based on following one of the alignments.

After watching the trailer, kind of. No spayse allen demons or whatever the fuck it looks to be about and no cringe companions, just Red Shirts you have a good rep with, be it through doing a favour/bribes or killing their enemies and not their allies. Is supposed to be Stalker fan game? Reminds me of Hunt Down the Freeman.

A game like City of Heroes but all of the action is more like Spider-Man or Batman: Arkham Asylum.

You play as an adventurer who gets thrown down a massive seemingly endless pit. You wake up in a world that has layers that people known as Dwellers explore and harvest goods from.

This world is fueled through monster materials harvested from the monsters deeper in the layers. You hire Dwellers and the goal is to become rich through operating your own shop that sells goods created from monster materials and eventually make it back to your original world/above the pit.

You would have the ability to sell the goods you create from the materials in your shop to Dwellers, to other shops for them to sell, or give them to your hired Dwellers.

Basically, Recettear + Etrian Odyssey + Monster Hunter. Sorry for the autism, but I've been thinking about this idea for a few days.

It's a sort of stalker fan-game with less soul, a grind that's a bit boring and only the surface-level grasp of "choices matter" kind of shit. It's got decent graphics going for it, at least.
I wouldn't say it's a great game but some fans of stalker starved for action do enjoy it. Your game design stuff is definitely better than what they've made.

This kinda feels like Moonlighter + Deep Rock Galactic + MMO

Mine is Dragin' Sigma, but you wouldn't understand.

Viva Pinata 3.

at least you were $89,999,999 under budget

Tree of Savior but not terrible, that's it.

A people-simulation where you have various kinds of scenarios where incels interact with big booba anime girls + avatars of well-known streamers (with enough modification to pay them 0 royalties)
3d world sandbox kinda thing, with overpriced sex DLC later
Name: The Simps

Is it still shit? I quit like 5 or 6 years ago

ok here it is.
System Shock but in space vegas in VR
>We gat a year 20...something
>You are an security cyborg on the space vegas.
>you are woken up by an malfunction so you need cyber crisps or some shit
>And the space vegas is a giant station full of expensive stupid shit like a gold fountain that spits wine
>And one they something happend and there is an AI problem (we will get to it)
>Our protagonist needs to see an AI but is intersepted by an animatronit tahat looks like an anime girl
>And he goes though some weird shit made by the rebels and an AI like a level that is just one giant fat person
>Then we meet our AI and it has a body of a 10/10 lady while having a voice of a dude (by this we can attatch some pretentious tranny crowd)
>And we will have to kill some aliens or space beggars...or something
>I don't know how much viva Las Vegas may cost us.

>Is it still shit? I quit like 5 or 6 years ago

I wouldn't know because I also quit not too lonf after release. All it really did was annoy me that all the beautiful art of the game and content was wasted because Koreans can't design gameplay for shit.

I will never stop pitching this

SWAT 4 + horror
> copy/iterate/improve SWAT 4 gameplay (RoN is fine I guess)
> missions start normal, but have dark tones. think the kidnapper mission in the beginning of 4
> start seeing really weird shit, cults, sacrifices, strange marks on walls and animal remains
> halfway through game you get a wham mission where you face some horrifying monster
> game continues with cult taking center stage
> missions have mixture of monsters and humans, so you get to gun shit down while still having to follow the rules arresting humans (you get bonus points/intel or something)
> city is descending into mass psychosis and rioting
> final mission is unburied temple discovered while digging new subway line
> kill/arrest eldritch god, ending theme:

could be like mixing RoN, GTFO, and the diversity of monsters from Doom/Resident Evil
