You copy the .desktop from /usr/share/applications, change the name to have (Japanese) or something in it and add env LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 to the front of the command.
Or open a terminal and do it manually.

Pirated shit is exactly the same as DRM free software from say GOG. It's also exactly the same as desktop Linux. You put it on your storage somewhere and you run it. That's literally it. Bear in mind that some cracks do funky shit and hotpatch the game in memory; depending on how the cracks function, they may not always work on WINE. Adding a shortcut into Steam using "Add a non-Steam game to my library" is optional.

It’s a bad design. I’m over my Stockholm syndrome of defending this thing and sold it. After fees I even lost a little money. I thought it would have sold for more but it basically sold for cost.

Fan noise drove me nuts, I don’t want to open it for a fan or SSD mod because of the horror stories about it being loose and creaking which would trigger my OCD (and the SSDs are expensive). 40hz is a meme and the battery is still shit, carrying around a power bank just doesn’t have the same effect. I could put up with the OS quirks and proton translation bugs but it’s just too much with all the problems. The sides are too big and the unit it way too big and heavy, I wouldn’t call it a portable. I always thought calling the Switch a portable was stretching it and this thing is bigger. Oh well somebody else’s problem
