It's legal.
No it's not fucktard. Downloading and distributing ROMs is illegal. Only the act of using an emulator is legal
That's not implied in the image you posted. That action is also legal in some countries.
>picture of a game is now downloading and distributing
Cool story bro.
I'm not the user, but it's clearly the case being presented here. Illegally downloading ROMs and posting them though an emulator.
It's a pretty great game, one of the better Kirby games, and I recommend it
Backing up your game carts and making your own roms and then playing said roms on other hardware you have is legal.
Bullshit it is. People still complain that emulation itself is illegal so if you post an image of a game simply being emulated that doesn't imply piracy at all. There is also the fact that the picture is of the Steam Deck, implying that on PC is OK but playing the game on a device similar to the Switch is a problem. If OP wanted to talk about piracy he should have posted a pic of Pirate Bay or something.
Ok, you think that's what's being showcased in this picture?
It's possible. Are you projecting your own lack of morals?
How do you know it was illegally downloaded or downloaded at all?
It’s fucking shit just buy a switch like a normal person
After Nintendo revoked my access to my eshop account for no reason, I just pirate them shamelessly.
Do you have proof that its not, loser?
Cope
I'm just genuinely asking, do you think the user in this photo is playing a backed up version of a game he owns
Nintendo fans when they see an unsucked cock
It's pretty easy to dump switch carts user. Who would ever dream of illegally downloading a video game? That's stealing of course.
It's the simplest explantation that makes the fewest assumptions
You can't stop me from downloading digital copies of vidya and playing them using a program that emulates the necessary hardware and software necessary to do so.

ALRIGHTY THEN

GO ON, GET
Someone said something wrong, and I was correcting him. AKA, literally what happens on the internet all the time.
Switch sisters..... What do we do now?
free switch games are cool
If I ever saw a tendie in real life, which I never will as they are too obese to leave their house, I would slit their throat and watch them slowly expire.
I feel the same way about snoy sisters. I haven't encountered any though because there's only a couple of them in existence.
Nintendo lost me as a customer when they had the audacity to charge $20 for their shitty online service and charge $60 for Skyrim. Fuck em.
kirby says fuck jews
free food and vidya for everyone
Oooh, we got a tough guy here
I'm PS5+Deck
What's up?
>webm
america is fucking doomed
That's Britain IIRC
Originally was an anti Trump thing before Snoys went insane
No it wasn't.
You aren't old enough to drive. Come back later, child.
Switch owners aren't people.
no, i mean in general
i hate america
>eurotendiemoetroon mad the AmeriDECK mogs his gook fisher price tablet
Why would I need to? Nobody's going to take away my free games.
every Nintendo fan I know IRL is a cringy fag that no one likes
Kirby is fun, the more people who play Forgotten Land the better.
I hope everyone who pirates it at least has fun.
Tendie SEETHING
>implying even 10% of roms fit the "legal" example user gave
Come the fuck on user, let's not pretend to be stupid.
I don't even care about emulation, but let's actually be honest about it.
An overwhelming vast majority of emulation is by people who never have and never will buy the game and upload the rom themselves.
Drop the bs pretense.
I only pirate Japanese games. I'm tired of these perverted gooks stealing our wealth.
>it’s legal
If you rip your own copy
>which i did
Then that means you had to buy the game. At that point why not just play it on the original hardware? It’s cheaper.
>free games
Then you didn’t purchase a copy to rip, and are illegally playing the game.
ac
tm
Pardon me if I don't care for blatantly lobbied (((intellectual property))) laws. They'll find some dumb loophole to say that you're not allowed to enjoy it the way you want.
>but I ripped it myself
Well akshually you don't have the right to do that, you're no the license holder!
>but didn't you get your money
You paid for the license, not a game.
>why can't I romhack it to get higher FPS or resolution
Because we want to sell that back to you at a premium, goy
Bump
I don't care what you feel. I only care about objective facts. And it's an objective fact that it's still illegal. That's all I'm saying.
underrated
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
user?
Bump
If you dont pirate most games you are an idiot
only when your time is worth nothing. but I'm sure you're also a loonix troon who already understands that concept.
That's pretty nice, from what I have seen, Switch emulation isn't fullspeed yet, but it's close to that, after both emus get more optimized with time, I can see it being a possibility. I'm also hyped about AMD Phoenix's CPUs, the successor to Rembrand/Ryzen 6000, gonna be crazy good if the leakers claiming those CPUs' IGPUs are going toi have 16-24 RDNA2 or RDNA3 compute units. The Deck only has 8 CUs and the Ryzen 6000's highest end SKUs have 12 RDNA2 CUs, so it could be a crazy jump in performance for iGPUs that would really benefit devices like the Deck
I buy most good niche, underrated and flopped games no matter the budget like No More Heroes, Marvels Guardian of the Galaxy or that recent El Shaddai PC port or big sellers but has an online component like Elden Ring and Death Stranding.
And then I pirate games that are big million sellers.
Seeing how Kirby is in the top charts. I pirate that one too no exceptions
>only when your time is worth nothing
it said while posting on an anonymous basket weaving forum. self own.
The problem as always is how much you can cram in before economics or power limits what you can put on it. The main issue is moving from 4 to 8 cores in the APUs which take up more power from the GPU.
YEEEEEEHHAAWWW
There are other handheld PCs that have 8 core ryzen 3 APUs, the Aya Neo has a 5800U, GPD is going to launch the Win Max 2 that is going to have a 6800U variant, it should be fine for an upcoming Ryzen that is one of those U 15-25W low power choices
