ryujinx because they focus on accuracy rather than hacks, but yuzu is better for new releases because of said hacks
I prefer an actual Switch because its easy and quick to boot up, and I can bring it with me without taking out a mortgage.
lol
I've had better success with Ryujinx for certain things, but I keep both around anyway
I don't think you can attach a texthooker to Ryujinx either can you? I didn't get it to work last time I tried.
"ryujinx because they focus on accuracy rather than hacks, but yuzu is better for new releases because of said hacks"
what do you mean they use hacks how do they differ from what you describe as accuracy from ryujinx?
Pretty much this
I'm not in the business of spending $2000 on a gaming PC just to play switch games with visual glitches, performance hitches, and crashes.
Damn... emufags btfo instantly.
tried both and yuzu runs like crap on my PC while ruyjinx runs at 60fps flawless, so maybe try both and see on your rig
>spending $2000
my computer is 8 years old and can run switch games at full speed, stop being retarded
My PC with a 5600x and 3060 was 900 dollars, sorry youre poor.
How is input lag on switch emulation? It seems to be pretty terrible with PS3 so I started to wonder how Wii U/Switch fared
stop getting baited
>user speaking and me on the left
Yuzu is poorfags choice due the great Vulkan support but if you have an Intel CPU there's no reason to use Yuzu over Ryujinx.
because hacks are just that, a hack. taking the easy way to get something running at a playable framerate quickly rather than optimizing and improving the actual emulation accuracy. instead of implementing a system call that the emulator doesn't support they just code it to skip it or fake a response, it's less accurate and you're more likely to run into bugs and crashes.
do you not know how to greentext?
i have a 3070 and a steam deck and i still prefer using an actual switch. mainly because i'm lazy, hate shader cache hitching, and like playing online with randoms.
>I do, I never felt the need to green text.
>first fucking day of playing AC
>screenshot
Notice how these emulatorfags dont actually play any games and just fuck around with settings and random save files and keep restating
I have a 2070S and an intel i7 9700K which would work better for me?
I have a 3070ti and a Switch and I prefer emulating. mainly because I hate 22 FPS, slowdown, hitching, and being handheld is meaningless to me.
How many games have you beaten while emulating?
>shader cache hitching

Is i7 4770k enough for Ryujinx?
I have a i5 4670k and it works at full speed
Stop replying to larping faggots
>$300 tablet is...LE BAD
>$1000+ gaming PC to get shoddy emulation of $300 tablet is...LE GOOD
I expect better of you snootfag
I own 3 Switches and wouldn't play AC if you paid me.
greentext quotes are faster and easier than typing it out?
Anyways I've only used Yuzu before. I don't feel like either emulator live up the definition of the word emulator. Neither do a good job of improving off of hte original experience. Modding games like crash team racing to run at 60 fps is easier on a hacked switch than it is on pc. When pc emulation improves on th switch experience to give me increased renders, framerates, and custom mods, then I'll care
I'll pay you $5000 to play AC.
>Which is better and why?
>Yuzu
GPL-3.0
>Ryujinx
MIT
I think the answer is obvious.
why do you assume this person is even interested in playing animal crossing?
>want to compare 2 different emulators for performance
>download both emulators
>download random popular game
>start a new savegame on both emulators under the same conditions so that the comparison is as fair as possible
This could be from an user trying to make a point, an actual developer, or a youtube channel that doesn't care the slightest about games, just COOMPARING for clicks
>20 minutes later
>*crickets*
The entire time you're doing this I'm playing games and made hours of progress in another game while you're fucking with settings and tinkering with nonsense and entering and exiting roms.
You don't care about games.
same, im kinda autistic with details(shadow/lighting) and i fear playing something like SMTV and finding a bug by the ~70 hours mark.
I hate emulator fags because it's the same fags who pirate every other game as well.
Don't give a shit about Nintendo, but pirating indie games (not including shit like undertale or stardew or slay the spire; basically mainstream indie games) doesn't help anyone.
Hell, can't even defend the "well no demo" because steam has a 2 hour no questions asked refund policy
GET IN
I love seeing this autistic argument.
Not him but I completed BOTW, that Platinum game I forgot the name of, Bayonetta 2, and Mario Odyssey and I play Smash Ultimate when my cousins visit. Unfortunately there is fuck all else I care about playing although I have that 13 Sentinals game ready to go when I feel like it.
That's a decent list.
Unfortunately, I beat BotW on Switch in 2017, and Bayonetta 2 on Wii U like 100 years ago. If your argument for Switch emulation is playing 20 year old games, that's odd.
>Hell, can't even defend the "well no demo" because steam has a 2 hour no questions asked refund policy
The money goes back into your steam wallet, it might as well be monopoly money.
yeah, except the fact it's real money and devs don't get it if you refund.
>XX year old games
what does it change?
I didn't mention it but I knew you would do this lol. You try to twist emulating video games as a bad thing when it isn't, it's so fucking pathetic.
I also emulated them like 100 years ago but none of this matters at all. I played them for free with good performance and graphics -- you didn't. That's all it is and it makes you unreasonably angry. It's hilarious.
Ryujinx because it still works after updates when I haven't touched it in a while. Meanwhile yuzu breaks half the time after updates.
Also
>Yuzu
C++
>Ryujinx
C#
The answer is even more clear!
I like Ryujinx because I have played 200+ hours of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on that emulator and not even once has it had a hitch
Please show me where I twisted it into a bad thing? It just doesn't make any sense at all.
Mario Odyssey and Smash Ultimate have almost no slow down, and are 900p/1080p games at 60/59 fps usually locked.
I simply don't get why emulating would be an enjoyable experience on a PC, especially when there are still flaws.
>inb4 I playedd the entie game and had not a single issue, glitch, or settings problem
what happened to that spine emulator? haven't heard anything from the dev in months now
You.. do realize it can now also go back to your PayPal and such, right ?
Have you refunded a game lately? I just refunded monster rancher 1 day ago and today it's on may paypal
>I played them for free with good performance and graphics -- you didn't.
Odyssey and Ultimate are top performers on the Switch and suffer no slowdown and have high-res textures/60 fps. Bayonetta 2 sucks on Switch, yeah, so I can see that being better to emulate, same with BotW. But don't go dick waving because you got 1440p instead of 1080p on Ultimate.
I am a brainlet, none of these are helpful.
Yuzu has AMD’s FSR support. Ryujinx has neither DLSS nor FSR.
I opt for Yuzu unless the game works better in Ryujinx because it looks better in Yuzu.
gpl is the true freedom license. mit is for compromised people willing to hand their code over to pr*prietards
c++ is more cringe than c but it's far less cringe than microsoft java- I mean C# is
>GPL
I made this piece of software :) Please enjoy it, and if you make any improvements to it please make them public so we can all make use of them :)
>MIT
I made this piece of software :) Please rape my asshole and give me AIDS :)
>now he's pretending to be retarded
classic tendie
I play Smash at 1440p with 120fps and Mario at 4k. Both of the games have FPS drops on Switch too.
Lurk moar newfag
i want to play some switch games, i already have a PC. i would buy a switch if they put out a better model, feels like a scam to spend afew hundred bucks on outdated shit
Switchies really seething today lmfao
This is a retarded argument dude. Plenty of people have played these games to completion in emulators, because they run better than on an actual Switch.
I’ve beaten most of the Switch’s library of exclusives in either native 4K with 60 or 120 FPS patches, or in 5120x1440 32:9 superwide patches.
Here’s a few gameplay videos I recorded of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Captain Toad, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land running in 32:9:

Playing games on the actual Switch hardware sucks major ass and you’d have to be a total poorfag to do so instead of just buying an Alder Lake and emulating that shit at better resolutions and framerates on PC.
man if you have to play "spot the difference" i would say it doesn't matter
schizo
A while ago some hardware sperg posted the same thing and said that even though I posted footage I didn't actually beat them, even though I did lmao.
32:9 is pretty crazy though, are you using 3 monitors? I like how it works for Toad but the FOV looks weird to me for the others.
