When I was a kid I was a big Sonic fan and they had a Ty the Tazmanian Tiger ad where he had beaten up Sonic and Spryo and I think Crash and they were all terrified in the hospital wearing full body casts when he was menacingly standing in the doorway ready to finish the job. Needless to say I never played Ty or had any desire to ever play his game, in fact I secretly wished it would be a terribly selling game and he'd be dropped as a character for the rest of time.
