This time around though I chose not to use her in favor of Kyle, a character I only used like one time in my life and that was from a time where I felt every character needed to support with someone. After replaying a lot of the FE games, it's standing out as a lot more fun and well designed when you don't use Seth past early on and don't grind.
Way better than FE6's bullshit same turn enemy reinforcements and low hit rates, way better than FE7's complete lack of options to do more than brute force your way through until like 3 chapters before the end.

Are you retarded? Three Houses is the best selling FE, the most recent one, and the only one on the Switch besides a Famicom port of FE1. And they're making a spinoff of that setting with all the characters, not a low effort "here's a bunch of people who fell out of portals into other worlds" crossover.

But like Swords weigh the least so being locked to 1 range infantry units balances them versus those Cav units with 2 range options and the most mobility right? I liked FE5's approach where swords were useful due to being the only weapon most mounted characters could use indoors. It'd be a big plus to the soldier/armor knight types to be the only lance users indoors too, and help balance flier/cav supremacy.
Plus the magic swords being higher rank but decently effective, yet scaling off magic for the ranged attacks. Was a real nice niche.
