I'm about half way through the game and have been going out of my way to stay at light weight. Put 30 points into endurance, wearing light armor and claws/daggers. Is it even worth it? Most people seem to be staying at medium.

Because of a glitch when he enters phase 2 he's currently unbeatable. When he raises his sword and shouts Ora ora ora you are supposed to poise break him but he has infinite poise so you take 2000 death curse and instantly die. You'll have to level up immunity to level 99 by farming hollows.
