Had a similar experience with Escort Duty. The Nemesis spawning in the next room while Doretta was drilling to it and she just annihilated it.

how can you run out exactly?

Because generally you're limited to only 3 per week, and on average it only takes 9-20 missions to find enough events to use all 3. Since the battle pass encourages daily playing more than waiting for the weekly, it's not hard to do that many missions and run out.

there are barely any co-op games these days, it's all so tiresome with people marking team deathmatch and other PVP games as cooperative just because you are on a team with people
team deathmatch is it's own genre but now every game that has anykind of teambased PVP is now also called co-op because you have to SHILL SUPER HARD and say your game isn't what it actually is.

Crossbow is a strong contender for best scout secondary, I think. There's an oc that makes it into a cryo launcher with 20-something rounds, that's strong, even if the range of the cryo is way smaller and it's more of a shoot ground and kite them into it playstyle. The first upgrade tier also has good shit, the pheromone got buffed and two arrows can keep the entire wave off of you. The other good one is the chemical explosion, but you have to kill the bug in the middle of a group. Electric is shit with no ammo.
Dunno about the railgun, I feel bulldog already works as a kinda sniper rifle for the gunny boi, no need for another strong single shot gun. T2 upgrade that lets you shoot without full charge is the most useful thing on it, I feel, but I don't have all ocs for it yet.

I think the first or second mission I played with friends after the update, we had a mission with eight Nemesis spawns. We had such a rough time with none of us knowing how to deal with him properly.

Season 3 had better bring competitive PvP in order to save this game.

Pheromone is by far the best special, explosive is a meme that requires a ton of setup when someone else could just kill the wave in the same amount of time, better to just clip a praetorian or oppressor and get rid of a wave hassling you

I had someone do that yesterday. He dug the fucking uplink an entire kilometer under the drop pod I couldn't really stop him since he did it before we even finished getting the minimules so even kicking him wouldn't unfuck the position of the damn thing. Only sealed it up begrudgingly. sure enough a nemesis did spawn in but it was so fucking far underground that it didn't reach the cells before the timer was completed
Then I lasered the driller to death for his insolence.

add a faster ledge grabbing animation to the existing sprint perk to make it better and more usable
active perk that fears all enemies around you
active perk that greatly reduces all damage taken for a second and clears all debuffs
